Henderson didn't do a lot in terms of marking and kicking goals but showed a lot of upside. he is quicker than I thought
Agree with this. There was a contest on the outer HFF where he was out of position to take the mark against a smaller opponent (the new Richmond player wearing #50 I think) – but more than kept up with him in the chase, was really much quicker than I would’ve expected from someone so tall.
That was Relton Roberts and it was a fantastic chase. Didn't quite catch him, but didn't lose any ground on him either and Roberts is suppose to be a speedster. There is a lot to like about Henderson.
Imagine what the margin would have been if the umpires had payed frees for all the behinds they conceeded.
Imaging Warnock if he can add another 10kg and keep that workrate.
Imagine if as many people are wrong about Yarran as were wrong about Russell. And imagine Yazz with another two pre-seasons. (I liked the last quarter when eveyone else was playing in quicksand, and he just waltzed around a couple of players and slotted it on his left)
Imagine Krezuer if ... ah, what am I talking about, he's already perfect.
Imagine if Setanta improves his accuarcy
Imagine if Eddie keeps that workrate up for a season instead of 10 weeks.
Imagine Jamison if he could get through a game without putting his shoulder out (don't believe Ratts, what do you expect him to say 'yeah it's stuffed, but please don't target it for the next 21 weeks')
Now hold that thought, and we'll see what happens against some decent opposition next week. But a wonderful start to the season no less.
