the hawthorn v carlton game took a *****load out of both sides as everyone saw on the weekend

mentally and physically it drained both sides

wudnt really worry to much from both those performances on the wknd

the haw carl game was like a final played at the highest quality

the intensity was up for 4 qtrs just like a final

next week we will have recovered.

anyone who thinks that houlihan, fisher or bannister should play this week may want to re visit the bullants game from the weekend!!!
every one thats on hampsons back should back down. name one ruckman [kreuzer aside] that has come in after two years and became a gun ruckman!!! give him a break for flower sake!!!!!!!!!!!
if hampson and austin had as many chances as cloke, russell, houlihan and wiggins i would bet a case or two with anyone if they done come on!!!!
outs; cloke, russell and wiggins
ins; robinson, browne and gartlett
armfield jamison thornton[last chance]
scotland austin bower
simpson[must improve] gibbs stevens[must improve]
yarran waite robinson
betts fevola kreuzer

hampson judd murphy
hadley browne gartlett joseph

hartlett is another that had a good game.
grigg is still out as is carrazzo.
pies are not tall so having a smaller team is not a problem.
and yes we are overrated!!

Whats the ticketing arrangement for this game? A mate of mine reckons he reserved seats and could only find them in the nosebleed section, surely you can score something better?

Just bec we beat them twice last year means nothing. They will towel us given our current form of 1 win in 5 games.

If anything losing to us twice last year will serve as ammo for them.

Theyre down 80 to 25 right now, not in good form either

They'll no doubt have Didak, Medhurst and Davis back next week.

But God I hope they bring this next week.

My worry is that losing a succession of close games can be dispiriting and draining. If we don't win a tight one soon, expect a big loss soon after.

Or a big win.

More of a mentally bruising game than physical at the moment. They are getting smashed.

BIG questions to be asked if we don't knock them off next week. BIG.

I think we are asking some questions at the moment.

Be nice to come out and see them play four quarters with passion and demoralise the pies.....

2007 Collingwood lost to Brisbane by 93 points at the MCG, next week came out and beat Carlton.

(We were tanking though! )

I've heard there may be a doubt about Fraser too.
