I wasnt aware that he had a say in the shit-trucks we recruited like mansfield, martyn, ackland, o'reilly, mcguane and the rest of the shit draft picks that never worked out................

I wasnt aware that he paid players under the table and rorted the system which cost us valuable picks and shitloads of money............

What i am aware of is that he can be an absolute flower of the highest degree, but when there was !@#$ all to cheer about he gave some of us a reason to smile and kicked a couple of goals along the way

For all of his bad traits i reckon there would be some good ones as well

Fevola isn't a Carlton champion.

I can feel bile rising up into the back of my throat after reading that.

Like Lance, Fevola was a matchwinning forward and a prodigious talent, but he wasn't a Carlton champion.

Champion footballers put themselves before the team.

Champion footballers win multiple best and fairests and or/a premiership.

Fevola is as much a champion as Stevens...

The only time we ever saw Fevola bust his gut for four quarters was the time he had the chance of kicking 100 goals in a season.

I can't wait for a new season and era to start without Fevola.

I agree. Look I enjoyed him at times - but football is like that, @#$%&! I even admit a certain (albeit tiny and slightly foul-tasting) love for JE after the flag in '87- overall though, like JE, I am glad he has gone.
