Caro's take on the matter. As far as I am concerned she is far and away the best football journalist in the country (waits for the inevitable backlash)

What Angwin said is a deflection on what is the real story.
The AFL arent serious about drugs. Players have a high expendable income and are exposed to them like the rest of us.
We all heard for years about troubled gamblers and then two were ousted by Beasley... huge debt but its all been swept under the carpet again.

I d love to know what the AFL is doing about social problems apart from sweeping them under the carpet which means the problem is always there and hidden away..so players with a problem wont go for help because theyre taboo...

Silly, silly way to handle REAL problems... IMO

just a matter of time before they go BOOM!!!

Great story. She's the only one that tells it like it is. I'm with you Buzz, I'll take one Caro over a million Mike Sheahans anyday...

Yep, fantastic article. Full of common sense stuff - which is normally sadly lacking.

Norman was given another chance, but judging from his place now in the Blues' pecking order he will struggle to stay on the list.

doesn't sound like a back problem
