Funny comment from Judd in the article

"I think it's pretty important – I was saying before that we currently do our recovery in an outdoor pool in the shade with no heating, that sits at about six or seven degrees, and a few of the boys are starting to wonder if they'll ever be able to have children"

That article came up at 5.16pm. The story broke in the Hun this morning with the presser at 10am.

What has afl.com.au been doing all this time?

It's also great to think that children are being led into VISY PARK, being smothered with Visy and Carlton goods and BEING CONVERTED 70 CHILDREN AT A TIME!! MWUHAHAH!

You'll see the true effects in 10 or so years time when we hit 80,000 members. ;)

I can see it now. The children file into the Judd Theatre. The carpet is navy blue. The upholstery is navy blue. Lily of Luguna is playing softly in the background. They take their seats and the navy blue curtins roll back and the movie starts to play. 5 minutes into the gump on global warming and the screen starts to spin ... they're getting very sleepy ...

PS - I can't believe Pratt is spending millions building an entire environmental centre just to justify the money he's paying Judd to be an environmental ambassador. That is so deliciously evil

If this is all a front to justify whacking an extra bit of dosh Judd's way to be a Visy Ambassador... it is truely the most awesomest idea ever!

A little over-the-top... but, awesomest!!

With the 'Judd Theatre' - I could videos of recycling plants and widelife and stuff... with subliminal imaging of the Carlton logo every 13 seconds... :)

The announcement of the elite training facility is great but nothing we did not know. A big thanks goes out to everyone involved getting this up especially Dick Pratt.

What astonished me was how uninformed the press conference was in regards to major environment issue considering since the club was promoting this 'going green' and our captain playing a so called ambassadors role with environment issues.

Not once where any statistics nor facts mentioned by either Greg Swann or Chris Judd that would have help sell the whole 'green club' image and ambition of the club. To me it stunk of hypocrisy and complete ignorance and came across as thanks Dick for your money at least let us give you something in return

what's FMD??

again i said i could not be happier with the announcement but what stood out for me was the lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism by Swann in regards to this so called 'major issue' that the club must feel it has to go green with.

If you going to have someone selling the 'green club' ambition at least have someone who can back themselves in with any knowledge of the current climate so the club looks as if they actually know what they're entering in

just a poor performance and absolutely stunk of we couldn't care less we got what we want out of it and i say this because the when Greg Swann was at the Collingwood football club the pies had planned to head down the same way 'going green' with a new development about to be announced shortly.

Melvey, in response to your last post, maybe Dick didn't want to highlight his contribution to the new environmental learning centre- I'm sure you'll hear a lot more from Judd re. the environment once the new centre (read: elite recruiting and training centre for future Blues stars) is up and running. 8)

If you think that the whole of Victoria, hang on make it the whole of Australia wait on the whole of the world....are not aware of the current issues in realtion to climate change...then your kidding yourself....Its a Carlton Football Club promotion...not a flowering information session on climate change...and my comment still stands....FFS think glass half full instead of that moaning glass half empty shit you go on with....and BTW FMD means Flower Me Dead

So don't read his posts, it's not that hard.

He's allowed to be negative if he wants to.

There are many things that you post that no one cares about Melvin.

If you don't care, move on to something else and don't post.

This is a great opportunity!
