The announcement of the elite training facility is great but nothing we did not know. A big thanks goes out to everyone involved getting this up especially Dick Pratt.
What astonished me was how uninformed the press conference was in regards to major environment issue considering since the club was promoting this 'going green' and our captain playing a so called ambassadors role with environment issues.
Not once where any statistics nor facts mentioned by either Greg Swann or Chris Judd that would have help sell the whole 'green club' image and ambition of the club. To me it stunk of hypocrisy and complete ignorance and came across as thanks Dick for your money at least let us give you something in return
FMD.....only one person can find a black thread in a great day for Carlton

what's FMD??
again i said i could not be happier with the announcement but what stood out for me was the lack of knowledge and unprofessionalism by Swann in regards to this so called 'major issue' that the club must feel it has to go green with.
If you going to have someone selling the 'green club' ambition at least have someone who can back themselves in with any knowledge of the current climate so the club looks as if they actually know what they're entering in
just a poor performance and absolutely stunk of we couldn't care less we got what we want out of it and i say this because the when Greg Swann was at the Collingwood football club the pies had planned to head down the same way 'going green' with a new development about to be announced shortly.
