I caught a few seconds of Fatprick and HotSeat touching each other up over Pratt this morning.

I was going to ring up but then thought there was no point as anytime someone with a cogent argument against whatever their opinions are come on line they just freeze them out.

Of course, they're happy to have the less eloquent Carlton supporters talk as long as they like.

I just enjoyed the fact our Big Dick will go when he is ready and those two idiots are just going to suffer through out re-emergence - and nothing they say will make any difference

I'm going to write an email to SEN telling them that I heard someone talking about their station and I wasn't happy with what they were saying. I'm going to tell them that I won't be listening to people talking about their station anymore.

Next week, i'm going to not buy petrol on Wednesdays because just one day without it is going to cost the oil companies BILLIONS of dollars... Never mind the fact that Tuesdays and Thursdays will become a bonanza

Wouldn't you just love it if Mr Pratt was as vindictive at Fatprick is. With his money he could just 'do stuff' to make life very, very, very awkward for many, many years.

You know..............Just stuff.............

You know where I'm coming from don't your tommi

Kind of like short sheeting his bed but to the power of 1000.

He could.. but Pratt's a busy man.. he has more important things to attend to. Hopefully that includes finding a replacement for Wayne Hughes.

Hopefully in 9 months we can say the same thing about Wayne Hughes as people can now say about Hillary.... "GONE!"

Weren't you the one going on last year about how bad tanking was, about how if we tanked we wouldn't lure a big name to the club and that we should just try and win as many games as possible to keep the pride in our jumper.

I think Donstuie should be in charge of the club. We wouldn't have Kreuzer, we wouldn't have Judd, but we'd have pride in our jumper :)

You're right about everything except not luring a big name. I don't recall ever saying anything about that. But everything else is true, and I will this year too :-D

You would probably run the club better than me though. I don't think I could come up with genius strategies like sacking the recruiters (for whom, I'm not sure), losing all our games for the next 5 years and then with our force of nothing but #1 picks expect to pull a couple of premierships out of our arses, with the risk of being impeached for gross incompetence should we fail to do so. That is, if the club hasn't already gone bankrupt from memberships and sponsors dropping every year, incessant negative press, AFL investigations into rorting the system and moving to West Sydney.

You like twisting words don't you. I believe we need to tank this year, because we need two key position players and can get them in this year's draft. Also the fact is we will not make finals this year. End of this year is the end of tanking, we go gung ho from there. With Natinui and Hurley we'll have a group of young kids that can get us to premiership 20 while Essendon* are struggling on premiership 16.

Re sacking Hughes for you're not sure who. They said the same thing about Smorgon. We'll find an excellent recruiter. We have Pratt at the helm, the guy that got us the best CEO in the league. But if you want to keep Hughes I'm sure you're right about the benefits of that, just like you were right about the benefits of winning 8 games last year. Who needs Kreuzer and Judd when you can have Mcevoy. Of course there's the minor problem that Hughes looks like he might have gone through the 2004 draft without selecting one player who will be on our list in two years, but you're the expert.

I think you should keep posting about how bad it is we have Judd and Kreuzer and how we needed more wins last year. It hurt so much when we lost narrowly to Collingwood didn't it? I really wish we could have won that game. Why oh why did Fev have to injure himself.

It doesn't. It just keeps going on and on and on.

I'm bloody sick of having to watch Pendlebury in a Collingwood jumper, and Bate in a Melbourne one, etc.

The only thing you hit was a brick wall. Look Hughes will be replaced I'm predicting. I don't doubt that. The question in my mind is if, not when. And I just hope when it happens it's not too late. And when it does happen there are going to be a lot of people on here with egg on their faces.

You could say that about anything though. You just have to look at the predictions thread!

Please Please Please talk about something new.

then stop watching Collingwood and Melbourne play.

Player devlopment and infrastructure over your 'method' of sucess any day. Lets see, tank for a few year, have few good years and then tank all over again. I wouldn't follow footy if you had your way.
