Me too. Hartlett and Sake would be good ins for me

Hadley, as long as he is fit, sounds like a certain selection while Ratts has mentioned Harts a few times since last weekend but I have heard no mention of Sake - personally would love to see him in (he was killing it in the BLueants before he went down).

Thanks for the squad. :)

Lets drop a Grigg or Bower to bring in a no hoper like Bannister to play their position. :?

Great to see Harts up and running again.

Saddington has also been omited from the squad. Both irish lads are still in the injured group.

Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't we have 2 extra on the bench against Port? If so and we're bringing in 2 new guys this week, 4 have to be dropped from last week's team.

Good to see Hammer is at least named in the squad...but I'm a bit worried by the fact he didn't train yesterday and is reported to having required 'scans'... :?

Jacobs, Carlos and Aisake aren't in the squad, so if Hammer doesn't play it will be Cloke/Kreuzer carrying the ruck duties. If Hammer has to sit this week out, let's pray he's back by Round 1...

What's the problem with Joey. Is he still injured? :?

I have created a page with both squads if anyone wants to experiment with the teams.
http://www.footymagnets.com/hawthorncarlton23208.htm

Did a quick set of matchups, Hawks have put in a very inexperienced lineup. Hope Fev does get Dawson. :P

That's sensational Jars - feel like I'm sitting on the bench with my magnetic board during a game!

Dawson will go the Kreuzer and Campbell will get Fev.

thanks for the early news sticks

I'm pretty sure Wiggins was named in the team to play last week but didn't play for some reason?? When we looked at the stats the next day Wiggo was there with 0's everywhere. But he definitely didn't take the field at all. And he's trained all week apparently so I'm not sure what's going on there!!

And isn't it in: Austin, Bannister & Hadley? Hartlett played last week.

I heard he injured himself in the warm up so could not play or be replaced.

Thank DUC, still setting it all up and only just starting to spread the word. Hopefully it does well. :)

Supprising not to see Setanta or Aiske listed in the squad, a shame really. Looking forward to seeing Dennis Armfield play again. He showed some good promise last week and with a bit more game time, he could become a good player for us.

Every time I have watched a game on TV, he strikes me as one of the better defensive players in the team. He's a real "one man, one job" type of player and he has a lot more notches in his belt than a good chunk of the current list.

At the moment, I would have him in the best 22. Its on the other blokes to win his spot.
