And yet, when i got to work this morning I thought to myself, "@#$%&! these cauliflower. I'm going to spread the next three hours over TC, Terry Tate videos, online newspapers and gambling sites". Then I went for a two hour lunch and went home sick at 4pm.

He's hardly setting a good example as captain when not getting a touch, out late drinking and embarrasing the club with a pathetic court appearance. Not to mention receivng massive money for 4 years with an output that hardly matched it, all while not presenting himself in shape.

George I agree with you about the court case but its a bit tough making it sound he is out drinking all the time. Up until Ballarat he had an unblemished record in that regard didn't he?

Only those in the club or more specifically his team mates can answer whether it is affecting the club. No-one on this forum has the right to make that call. Just becuase the Boss can't operate all the machines doesn't mean that he can't lead the company. The roll of captain has many fascets - communication, motivation, encouragement, respect etc these are qualities required both on game day and during training. Lets see where the team goes over the next 5-6 weeks before making judgement. We all agree that the coach can make an impact without playing the game, why can't a captain?

There's so much I could say...

I agree but is he preparing himself in the best possible way to get the best out of himself?? I don't think he is - Lance needs to understand that leadership is not confined to just the football field.
