I have been strongly aware since 2001 that along with a large number of preceding tumultuous events that have surrounded Carlton, we have an old coach that leaves in controversial circumstances and a new young coach that replaces him.
Be assured that many of the building blocks for our future success have already been put into place but by no means yet realised through the actions of the older coach.
This will become clear fairly soon when Carlton shows a dramatic and unexpected on field improvement early in the tenure of the new coach, quite possibly in his first season.
There will be a very pronounced improvement towards the end of an early season of the new coach that will greatly please many faithful Carlton supporters but will irritate, annoy and upset the supporters of other clubs.
At that time, a very strong positive aura fully replaces the current confusion and negativity that is engulfing Carlton..
It is futile to fight the current troubles, all that can be done is to ride it out and endure it, as painful as it will be until it finally dissapates
It is a bit like when a very heavy fog finally clears away.. we all know it will clear, but we dont know exactly when that will happen, but for now we are pretty much stuck and have to sit tight.
However dont lose faith and hold on to the sure promise that the bad will times will soon pass and although it will not be immediately apparent, far better football times will follow.
As is always the case when we are fortunate enough to be given insights that extend beyond the our current world line, the exact timing of events is never provided.
However it is clear to me that we are in the final stages of our time of great crisis.
