Well Murph will now have to try harder to be the best...

Danyl Pearce..too small, too light and ordinary attitude....Port Adelaide must have been spreading that rubbish around....

It's one of the more subjective, pointless awards doing the rounds.

Congrats to Pearce, but really does anyone rate the nrs as an award?

If Murph won it, yes.

Nah, even if he won it my care factor would be minimal.

I reckon Pearce is a worthy winner, and let's face it, better than the sone of Richmond gun winning the award.

Who has been in the system for 3 years already.....

Well done to Pearce. Bad luck to Murphy. Shaw and Thomas can piss off.

Stand by for Agro.

My thoughts on the Rising Star Award is that it has (and always will be) a grand AFL self promotional exercise that justifies the AFL's pathway into the AFL.

Marc Murphy will win a lot more important awards such as Norm Smith Medals ( 8) ) in his career with Carlton - and they want be thanks for coming Maurice Rioli Norm Smith Medal's either.

Yeah, Raines made his debut in 2004.

Can Murph win NRS next year?

Isn't the criteria 10 games or less the previous year for a second year player???

Marc, no matter what happens in the NAB Rising Star Award, I think you deserve to win it.

Apart from being an exceptionally talented footballer, you have the looks to kill. I tune in to every televised game just to get that next glimpse of your cute little butt.

Long may your body be televised on my screen....You're my number 1.

I can see the anti-Pagan threads barely reaching the ends of the first page if we play Murphy in defense to develop his game.

[b]So what...do you have a problem with that titimus??? What sort of a name is that anyway?

I can't help the way I feel about the Carlton Boys. Aside from being the best team in the league, we have some amazing bronzed Aussies with great little bods.
