Cloke team was very receptive to all discussions with the Blues.

Blues have put best offer forward, depends on how much Pies need to keep Cloke (for all manner of reasons). Pies have the last say - ie they can choose to match our offer, but that will cause other hurt for them.

If Cloke says he wants out even if Pies can match $ then I suspect he'll be wearing Navy Blue in 2013.

Grain of salt is harsh. Think his last call was Sayers to join the board, and that was days before the story hit the press.

As an example goreds is another well regarded, but he said that Bomber Thompson to Carlton was going to become a big story. Turned out to be no more than a Crackers Keenan rumour. Not everyone can be 100% all the time.

Who knows at the time, perhaps Ling had agreed in principle but changed his mind.

Sure it's not Molly1, EP or HotCox confirmed, but he's put credibility on the line considering that the Free Agency period hasn't officially begun. Surely Collingwood wouldn't give up this easily, unless of course they have a big name targetted to replace him....

Speaking of other big names, is Buddy out of contract this year? Just heard something from someone today, nothing to do with us but it was an interesting bit of info nonetheless.
The same person was pretty sure we would hear on Monday about Cloke. I'd say Tuesday myself would be a better day. Enjoy the Chaz with the boys then.... check ya!

I never thought Cloke would leave Collingwood but after OR and Crane 6 info plus Pickering's comments I think he may well be with us next year.
