All the best Tom.

Might be the making of the team, backs against the wall and all that.

Or it might not.

He should be back for the finals

Are we idiots for sending him back on with a sore foot?

Hopefully he will be back for the finals - otherwise it might be similar to Kouta doing his knee in 2000.

I dunno, I'm keen to see how we go with just Pitto. It might shake things up a bit. It's not like we've been setting the world on fire the last few weeks with TDK in the side.

Our prospects do not solely hinge on TDK. Pitto will do the job. Midfield intensity and defensive accountability will make or break us.

over to you, pittonet.

as long as we have one ruck and stop trying to shoehorn two number one rucks into the backup/utility role, we're going to be just fine for september. pittonet hasn't been the most durable guy tho... he goes down, and things get interesting.

tdk, getting surgery on weds/thurs for his foot fracture. it'll be 6 weeks, but bcos it's his foot, copping all that load and weight and jumping. imo, we won't see him again until next year.

It'll bring back those heady days of early 2022, when Pitto & our mids just forced it forward

So if all news is bad news on the injury front we could have even leaving out any new injury arising during the week (aka the weekly training injury) the following unavailable for selection:
Definites
Jack Sivagni - season
Sam Docherty - season?
Tom de Koning - H&A season
Corey Durdin - continuing injury
Matt Carroll - continuing injury
Possibles
Caleb Marchbank - illness
Jordan Boyd - continuing injury
Sam Durdin - calf
Blake Acres - subbed off with general soreness
Jack Martin - continuing building after injury
Orazio Fantasia - continuing injury
Sam Walsh - back
Zac Williams - continuing injury
Billy Wilson - continuing illness
Mitch McGovern - continuing injury
Hudson O'Keeffe - continuing building after injury
That's 16 unavailable. Add Akuei, Mirkov, Moir and Monahan as being not (yet) ready for seniors and that is 20 of 45 unavailable. We have to select at least one of them as an emergency to make up a full list of emergencies, perhaps alongside uncapped Lemmey and Lord. That is with 1/4 gamer Binns in the 23 along with the recently dropped Kemp and the long-time dropped Young.
I realise several of the possible unavailables may be good to go, but all of a sudden our injury list is back to plague proportions.

If you can’t stop it, do it back to them. We’re the senior team here, they’re the young developing kids. Not gonna cry about getting bullied by a bunch of kids. We should be beating up on them

Just don't turn your back on him and you'll be safe.

Probably, but I doubt we win without his effort in the 3rd.

And possibly 7 of the 16 are good to go and all of a sudden we aren’t at plague proportions !
