Loguidice is not in the Mathieson camp.

He is mutual.....l hence why he got the gig and Rya Trainor didn't. Ryan was being pushed by the Pratts.

Mark is his own man. He is either side. His job is to get both sides working together

His job is to tell them to f$&% off and stop playing petty power games in the club, because that's going to lead to the death of Carlton if they keep it up.

By the sounds of it we are heading that way internally and imploding - hopefully Mark can do something about this, need to remove the internal factions of the Pratts Vs Mathiesons, CFC still haven't moved away from being a plaything for the obscenely rich

Pardon me (and others) for thinking that he should have presented that vision to members prior to his anointing as the chosen one to accede to the presidency, and even more so, presented it as part of a democratic vote amongst the members to decide our president, rather than have one thrust upon us.

For him to have a chance to outline his plans now is too late. He's already in, if we don't like it, tough. If they're plain silly, nothing we can do.

No club votes for their President, the board picks the President as is the way with most democratic processes.

As long as you fit within an oligarchy block,
As with most ' democratic processes'

We don't really have much of a choice but to give him the chance, do we?

Life is made up of blocks and factions , Political , Religious , Cultural. It's what we are .
Lo Giudice is a Carlton man , passionate , motivated and will be a progressional positive change to the chair and will hopefully also unite all the blocks.
We need forward vision and courage to make changes desperately.

Would have liked to have heard Mark speak at some stage on Saturday night.

It's rumoured that a "future of Carlton" segment on the night was omitted due to the other segments running over-time. Can anyone confirm this?

I find it astounding the new president wouldn't be introduced & introduce himself on the actual 'handover' night.

When will we ever hear from him, or will he be the next ghost who walks?

He is waiting for his moment to strike.
Like a coiled viper I've heard.

Yes, there was supposed to be a discussion incorporating the current players at the end that never happened. They went at least 45 minutes over time.

It was all about Sticks at this gig

The 'future of carlton' segment was probably where the rumoured re-signings of Gibbs, Menzel & Yarran were meant to be announced.
