This has probably already been posted, but Fev says he owes us one...

If he has a 55 - 60 goal year you could say he's levelling out. Anything around 80 he will be just below Richo. If he does it again next year he will be well above Richo by then.

Once he hits 29 though, you wouldn't expect him to still be performing at that level.

and yet I'd be happier with 50 if others then kicked a lot more. (so long as he bags 10 against Collingwood and Essendon* - just cos i know that would hurt them so much)

So he said he's looking forward to Thursday... on Thursday night???

I love lazy journalism.

Agreed. I'd rather have Fev kick 50-60, Fisher kick 40+, Hartlett and Edwards and Betts kick about 20-30 each and about half a dozen others to kick 10 each.

I'd prefer Fev to kick 100, Fisher 75, and Betts 55, just as a start.

I saw the Hutchy ambush on TFS last night, basically waiting for Fev when he walked out of his house to get into his car. There was a quick few words basically diplomatically answering hutchy's staged questions like:

"do you think you owe something to the fans"

Fev gave low risk answers as he sped through the ambush.

Amazingly some lazy journo has turned that 2 mins of gutter journalism into a story in the paper giving the impression that fev has made an impassioned plea to fans. The poor guy was mumbling as he ducked to get into his car FFS.

When you see rubbish like this it really does give you a bit of sympathy for the celebrities of the world.
.
BTW I hope Fev really does repay us tonight with a bag of 8 or 9.

Hard to kick 20 when Wallace is the king of the flood. The only way Fev will kick 20 is if he kicks them over the flood.

Hutchy is good at what he does, which is hide in dumpsters and bushes.

I'm hoping some time this year we will have left the bombing into the forward line far behind us.

When opposition are flooding, and double/triple teaming Fev, and we continue to kick it high above his head, it is so frustrating.

Fev is a great lead, mark, goal styled full-forward, and when he's kicking well like he did against Essendon* in round 3 last year he is almost unstoppable. If we bomb it in his direction it's easy for the opposition to counter him.

I hope to see very little bombing tonight.

Agree...Thursfield, Moore etc are nuffies who Fev should outplay easily providing we give him reasonable delivery and dont clutter up his avenues to lead. Edwards is another player who needs to be fed rather than have the ball bombed to him...

I think it's safe to say, everyone has left TC to go to the game - see ya.

I hope he kicks 10.
This may have already been said... but with Fevola's behaviour, would a sit down chat with Jezza (like previously with Nicholls be an idea). Fev might not be the sharpest tool, but if Jezza stripped him (with the club's consent) of the number 25 and he had some number like 50 or something and told he had to earn the jumper back... could this help? I know there's the whole number registration and other issues, but for a lot of players in the AFL wearing a former champions number can be a source of great pride... maybe the threat of dishonour would help his mind set.

The game started too early for Fev. If we start games at around 1am then Fev should be at his peak and would kick bags.

He kicked 12 one night on New Years Eve.

Stupid. If anyone should have been fearing the sack it should have been Scotland last year. What he did was 10 times worse than anything Fev has ever done. I don't understand why people are so harsh on Fev.
