Very disappointed with this thought Trigg did a very good job and I understand speaking to the staff they thought so too

Another jobs for the boys appointment where we pass these jobs to AFL insiders -executive search firm getting money easily

How about we do a proper executive search and get someone with commercial external experience outside the industry so they can bring new ideas and innovative practices about stakeholder engagement sponsorship and corporate governance

Slams the club for "the appalling way we've handled this". No doubt based on her "sources", mind reading and usual made up "facts". We can expect her to hammer us all summer and next season.

I forgot how annoying Caro can be. Loves getting the hollier than thou attitude, half made up I'd suggest.
Also annoys me that two reports state "junior staffer"... As if the woman was a harmless kid or "younger woman".... What does that have to do with it? If she was older would it have been OK?

I get the feeling Caro feels slighted by the club slamming the door in her face when asking about this, and this is her chance for retribution.

I'm sure someone can dig up a Caro piece that pilloried the club for appointing a CEO who was guilty of overseeing salary cap breaches to a club with a similar history.

Very disappointed. Thought his appointment was a good decision and since then Stephen Trigg has appeared to be doing his job really well.

Time to move on members of the current CFC Board, many of whom have made poor decisions, including bringing in Malthouse.

Speak up members.

Cheers for now

I hope the decision is made on merit and not to shore up SOS' power base.

After making up so much PR ground in the past 2 years, the club has had a bad month or so.

Whether you agree with the decisions or not, the Equality statement and the Trigg removal have been managed badly from a PR perspective.

Its actually surprising that barass70 knew about it a while back and it went so long unreported in the media... Clearly moves behind the scenes have been happening for a while.

Trigg appeared to do a lot of good (AFLW, coach search, backing the rebuild strategy - no messiah's). Hopefully they have decided the next person will build on that with improved membership, sponsorship and turning around the clubs finances.

The last club to have off field issues won the Premiership the next year.

This club never seems to learn.

We think we are ruthless and our self righteous attitude bit us on the arse hard and we have been living with the results for the last 20 odd years.

Now it seems we have gone backwards to the old arrogant way. We are Carlton.

We wonder why we are laughed at.
