Only because you asked so nicely steve

Sorry - abit lost in this request. It says there's 139 items and they are on pages of 20 on my system. So on other's systems they are pages of 10?

Great sight this week in the Blueseum - someone registered as 'john' and updated 2 games in 1967 being the games of a John Leatham. then John's bio got a quick update...the power of the Blueseum!!!!

Can someone please confirm that this is a pic of Phil Pinnell? A poster joined up the Blueseum today under the name 'portpower' which had me worried...but it seems like portpower chose good over evil today?

Yep, that is the picture from fullpointsfooty, 'portpower' might be our mate from that site, only guessing at this stage though. :?:

I did mine a few months ago and cannot remember that, the pics should just appear on the site when your request is fulfilled (a few months down the track). Maybe some of the guys that have just requested pics might know?

Oh ok. I think I get it now. Didn't realise it takes a few months.

That is definitely Phil Pinnell.....yet another Carlton player to come from the Paramount Club (Fawkner).....e.g. Phil Poursanidis, Doug Baird et al.

Molsey, once the 9th of November comes I will help out for sure but if I start before then I will get hooked (it is a very good procrastination tool) and not do any study.

No worries nikki...I wasn't in a rush to do this. Just thought I'd do 5 players every time I logged on. Its not that hard but its pretty boring.

The idea from Blueworld / Pat / true blue24 is that each bio can now look the same and is best with a header utilising similar basic data: Playing Career (look this up in the Locker Room), Games, Goals, Height, Weight, DOB plus any achievements.

Just find a player with it up top, go in and edit their page and copy the top block and paste it into a player's name that doesn't have it. I'm down to Russell or so (starting from Z) and Pat / tb24 are up to Douglas. BW has completed all current and recent players.

I think once all players have their 'blocks' we're just about done...for now..

D'ye mean just blank as in:

Pleyer number #
Guernsey number #
x Games, x Goals
Born dd/mm/yyyy

Or with the actual stats added as well?

Its up to you thehalford. You can start the process by putting in the 'block' or you can fill it in by sourcing the information from:

fullmont,

Just to let you know I have started scanning your fantastic collection of Blues pics tonight.

The first one was Ken Sheldon.
http://www.blueseum.org/cfc/tiki-browse ... mageId=410

I'll put all the high-res pics on a CD for you when I finish. Probably won't be for a while yet though. As players come up that I don't know the names for I'll post them up here to find out.

Jarusa,

The team photos are fantastic!!

Great work.

I was particularly struck by this photo of the 1938 team.

You can see from this photo that Brighton Diggins had a kind of John Nicholls presence on the team. This is a far superior picture to the other team photo of 1938 that I have seen in the past.

It made me realise that there is a heritage to this club that is worth protecting.

Do you know how I can get a copy of that photo?

I love it.

(I will see if I have anything rare and will forward it to you. I guess you have the John Nicholls book...That has some nice photos and comments in it)

Thanks mate, hopefully we will be able to get team photo's for every year. That would be superb.

WRT the 1938 pic, I got that from ebay, someone was selling this particular picture in march this year. So someone out there has it, but apart from that I cannot help you, sorry.

It is a great picture and I would love to have a high-resolution version of it. Even in this pic though, you can see B Diggins really stands out.

If you have any team pics that are not in the Blueseum it would be great if you could supply them. :-D

P.S. I don't have the Nicholls book (yet)
