What SB is struggling with is, there a people who just don't want to live in Sydney.

Reality is, 80% of Australians choose to live elsewhere.

No I'm not in any hole - Maybe it might be that I am older and wiser than most that post here

Young footballers get conned and supporters get sucked in to easy - Football is a business and a very short career for most - bit different from when they got paid $30 a game and bonuses when they won - Its big money and you have to make the most of it .

and Verbs check your math - People love Sydney most populated city in Australia must have something going for it

Hey when you are old are you still good at math?

Sydney population 4.5 million, Australia population 22 million. Work that out for me ;-)

I have lived in both in modern times and would choose Melbourne over Sydney any day.

Funny how this thread has become a Melbourne v Sydney argument.
I love Murphy. Not literally, but boy is he cute.

I get it now! You should have just said that!
I thought we were talking math!

Anyways....
When I take a job in the future I am going to use the SB method!
Ignore trivial things like job description, future prospects, friends and family, and just look for the salary!

Thanks SB it's great to get advice from an experienced man of the world like yourself!

And SB just keeps on digging.

BTW Sydney comes a distance 6th after Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart. Sydney people just do not get it. It is a hole. Pure and simple. The rest of Australia laughs at them. Crap beer, crap code of football and a habour you couldn't bathe in. Oh and shite politicians 'cept for Comrade Whitlam and Keating.

SB is right - Murphy has made a poor financial decision.

Then again SB you played for Parra and I can honestly say most people at you old club are from the lets say questionable end of the gene pool

Also you have a blind hatred of Santy which obviously shows you lack an ability to think logically :fight:

However im sure their is one thing we can all agree on here Smurh appears to have made a decision with his heart and for that we love him even more

Sydney Blue lost me when, in his alternate Murphyverse, he had Marc living it up in, of all places, Morocco.

So just to recap:

- Murphy re-signed for 3 years
- The Melbourne versus Sydney debate rages on
- Some posters see thread tangents as an opportunity to spice up their day

And on that note, I encourage you all to take this to Stuff for further analysis, and I bid this thread farewell. :)
