Pretty hard for the players to work their way out of it when they're confused and don't know what to do.

Admit it. The coach is stuffed.

Players have given up on his hopelessness. He'd be up there with the worst coaches in nhistory.

We're weak as piss if Bolton is sakced.

We're flying off the field - the young guys have all re-signed - we need to endure and tough this out.

No, we are stupid if he's not. He's obviously lost the players. To continue would just wreck the on-field culture of the club.

Uou might want to put up with shit, the rest of us don't. You're on you're own.

seems so

Voss was just plainly terrible as coach of Brisbane. We can't risk a failed coach.

The Syd game was all I needed to see. The number of times our players were out positioned must have been an AFL, VFL record. We are worse than Fitzroy.

Seeing him frustrated on the bench talking to Doc last week and this week he looks like he's sending a message to the powerbrokers.

The coach has to go

I
Looked like it, didn’t it.

I got to admit I read the same into that exchange. His body language over the last few weeks has certainly changed.

Don't think we could go down the untried coach path again.
Bolts was the right appointment at the time, but just hasn't developed as a coach.

Ratts. Go back to what worked. He'll be batter now.

It’s almost impossible to be worse than what we are now.

I think it will probably end up being Brad Scott, and I am ok with that.

Any of him ratts or Voss would be ok with me.

I'm in total agreeance with you.

Was just pointing out the club I think will be conservative

Voss blew up the club in a stupid trade period.

He still got them to a finals win in 2009 and sacked when they nearly made the finals instead of us in 2013.

Only experienced coach I can stomach is Clarkson.

Otherwise it has to be the next Beveridge, Simpson for us. Voss maybe depending on how he interviews.

The biggest of hell nos to Ratten though. He started this mess.

Some of these guys are at risk of being irreparably broken IMO. They play confused, reactive footy and whatever Bolts is teaching them is just not sticking.

Hey Rexy

Agree, we are flying off field, elite.

On field as is evident we are miles off.

Would have been fantastic if BB had survived to enjoy the success that will come.

Unfortunately he won't.

Massive risk to the brand, the supporter base and the revenue streams if club persists.

You can't take on Blues royalty, play like crap and survive.

As you say, we are flying off field, that makes it even harder for BB to survive.

Regards

OR

The moment he walked in and started with the cliches that was it for me. I gave him 12 months on the off chance the players were buying this crap he sprouts.
But you can talk the talk but you have to be able to walk the walk.

Will go down as another one of these modern management type that is just full of crap.

If the next coach walks in as say the word KPI or we are not measured by wins and losses march him straight out the door

Who has he taken on OR?

What will this mean for Cripps? Didn’t you say he was adamant Bolts shouldn’t be moved on mid season?

Barker as caretaker

It's just a basesless hunch but there's something about Barker maybe doing damage behind the scenes that I'm worried about

Yeah! Ratts got us to a prelim that we lost by what? 2 points?
All that on the back of an injury-riddled season.
The criticism of Ratts by most was that he was one of the boys and showed his emotions too much. Like when 1AW took THAT mark.
He's been schooled in the Clarkson school and is currently doing pretty well as the StK midfield coach. I reckon he's ready.

He's a Carlton man as well.

Cripps is solid, going nowhere. Blue for life.

All required young guns are signed and committed.

Assistant for the rest of the year or until new coach appointed. Thorough patient process required. Got to have our hat in the ring though before others swoop

Thanks OR. What’s the clubs view on the next coach?
