So I for one want Mick talking much much more and the board having every opportunity to reply and not just that but I want them to counter Mick and raise the stakes..

I want more stuff on trigg even if the AFL don't..
This is just great stuff IMO!

From a club perspective, however, I would be even more angry with them if they didn't tie his pay out to a non-disparagement agreement with Mick.

Some might want all the dirty laundry aired for the world to see, it's those people's jobs to prevent exactly that.

So we can't know how they're operating inside ?

No you want it spelled out if you are honest about where your club is at and you genuinely want to see meaningful change

The problem with people is they want to flop out their tit and allow their club to feast upon them each time there is an emergency
Check Essendon* for a prime example.. Deceitfulness.. Cheating.. It's all ok sweep it under the carpet.
But it's the dishonest culture that brought them unstuck just as it us.
This board needs to be held accountable at some point.. This situation is something they created.
Let them deal with it and let them be accountable to the fall out.
It's no mystery why Trigg was sought.
He's a beast of similar DNA as themselves

No Synners, you misunderstand.

It's their jobs now to ensure Mick doesn't air all the dirty laundry. there's a simple way to achieve that. I would be angry with them (Trigg, MLG) for not doing their jobs and protecting the club at this time. Getting Mick to shut up, or not paying him out if he can't shut up would demonstrate some competence in their jobs. That would be good to see, wouldn't you agree?

It's not a comment on what I'd like to know (but really, how many more nails do you need for their coffins?)

That's exactly how weak management reacts, whether it be the corporate world or a footy club.

What will be interesting is if the cantankerous old cauliflower accepts some accountability for the deplorable state he's left the playing list in. He won't as he's a Narcisist, in the football world he's on equal level as the great Albert. Maybe Prince instead of King....

The board and its member constituents will deal with our own shit at a later time, I look forward to having a look at a rival ticket - but people need to come out of the shadows!!!!

No they would be protecting themselves not the club

They haven't been protecting the club at all.. It's themselves the protect

the club is not a living thing
It won't stop breathing on its own it behaves only according to what humans do with it.
Right now it seems sick because the humansb who drive it have driven it off the cliff.
Not because of anything the club has done on itself.
When people begin to understand the club will seem better when the right people are driving it and has a transfusion when members return and love it.. Something might happen.
So not make a mistake not understanding the difference
At the moment there are too many bad cells in the clubs system.. They need to be exterminated.
That won't happen by going on a diet of sugar!

You're sidetracking this by not focusing on the real problem.
They're are people here at this club that sit in seats in board room charged with directing the club a safe passage to success and at least stability.
Mick might be a charlatan snake salesman .. He's gone!
Why would I look there?
So I'm going to look here and I want accountability!
No?

This is what an honest club would do

I think in this particular instance (Mick spilling the beans) the interests of the club and the individuals are aligned.

This club( meaning board) needs a dose of the kind of thing it has become.. No soft lens here.
For every negative there is a positive. Let's make sure it's exploited to the clubs best interests ( meaning us)
(Good cells bad cells wars)

Can't allow those bad cells to deceive you to make good cells help the bad cells or turn into bad cells.

Things happen in games very often that Wayne Britain defined as " defining moments within a game "
Let's hope this was our defining moment within the game... Don't take your focus off them.. Don't be hypnotised with their moment of frailty.
Remember it and hold them to account

I'm expecting Jim any minute to ride in with his deputies badge.. Lol

And bust this meeting up..

That's correct!
That's why not we focus on the board..
Now you're with the program goldzy..
It's time for the board to face the music... They can't pretend they have not brought us to this place.

Do you agree? ;)
I know you're another gatekeeper

No Synners, different issues. Ones been dealt with, the other could be dealt with but all I'm seeing is shadows

The one that is dealt with was created by the one that's still there.
Nothing happens around the club without their fingerprints all over it no matter how they pretend it doesn't.
That's the big Satan

Mick's easy.. Sack pay him out that's it!
It's the board that looms as the biggest problem facing this football club. It's the board that is a blood moon eclipsing all else

Incorrect usage of the term D-Day.

I'm writing to the Green Guide about this.

Classic

Agree totally....but if we sacked him MONDAY it would have looked like same old reactive Carlton.

The narcissist BLEW UP and made the board smell of roses when they sacked him TUESDAY.
24 hours eh... A long time in footy.

Mind you I probably agree that the it wasn't a board strategy....but fell into their laps....regardless, MM looks the fool and desperate ...Carlton looks like they did what they had to do....
Given the complete mess...it's a good result for Carlton.

As I said...now the heat turns on the board....
