He'd be ok. Not my first choice. Had considerable assistance from those below him that has boosted his profile.

Hey Doc, who else do you think would be a good choice?

Sheryl Sandberg. Lesa Kennedy.

Great choice. Or even Marissa Mayer....

Well I'm kinda suggesting that the club need to think outside the square. Because with the two or three shortlisted candidates we know about we have Greg Swann mkII. Michael Malouf-esque in their search. Was anyone headhunted or did this HR group merely accept applications from the advertised expression of interest? We need A-grade commercial nous. Not convinced we're gonna get it.

Club and headhunter are looking for the safe choice not the best choice
Wrong choice will mean the club continues to be mired in mediocrity
Sub Judice should be insisting that they given the board choices outside the square if he doesn't he fails his first real test
Actions speak louder than words Sub

I'd approach Ron gauci. I know he's a scum supporter but he gets things done.

Is anyone else concerned we may be about to appoint a man who served a league imposed suspension for deliberately pursuing an action to affect the integrity of the draft and competition.

Doesn't seem like the wisest move for Carlton.

Are the Board going to allow a person who was penalized for salary cap breaches take over Carlton?

If true, this would be champagne comedy....

She said it was her gut feel he would get the job. She said Swann would either go to Brisbane or the racing industry.

Adelaide boss Steven Trigg remains favourite for the Carlton position and is believed to have the backing of the industry to remain in the AFL system should he depart the Crows this season. The Blues and Trigg are believed to have spoken last week.

Greg Swann in turn remains the frontrunner for the Brisbane position but has also been linked with a job as chief executive of the Victoria Racing Club, which could lead to a delayed decision-making process at the Lions.

This guy in the mix apparently.
At first glance appears to tick some boxes.
i'd prefer the Devil we DON'T know

I thought we said, no more from the Woods!

It's down to 3, wood, Steven trigg and one other. Trigg is also Brisbane's first choice

I mentioned this on Sunday, not sure why the outrage now. Either way, Brisbane prefer him to swann

Regarding Trigg, If we're outraged over the 8 month penalty re the Tippett incident , then what to do about Hird & con and there shenanigans over at the Bombers? boot the Dons from the League?
Let's keep an open mind on The appointment and evaluate whomever on ability and performance.
Ciao

Get him in. We'll teach Adelaide for stealing our superstars Jacobs and Betts.
