Just an observation that we will still be Optus the new training gear has Optus on it, not Dan' Murphs and the CFCTV Judd show had Optus and Nike logos (no Dan's) on the screen. I wouldn't back against Synbad.

Also membership brochure has Optus logo on page 1!

So Synbad you are sounding more positive about Judd tonight. Is this because of todays meeting ?

Is the sponsorship the Vodafone one ? You said earlier on in the week that it was going to be announced this week. Has there been a hold up ?

Not Vodafone... but if it were it would have to multiply what theyre thinking about sponsorship money by around five.

No Judd is coming to Carlton unless something seriously goes wrong... i just dont want to give up too uch for one man.... even Judd.

The Vodafone thing???... scrap it... i dont think it will be Vodafone now... but im talking massive!!!!...

One think about Pratt... the man is a money magnet!!!

And Swann probably cant beieve what he is sitting on now that he is here..

Im pretty sure he is thinking.... Collingwood is small fry.

2 weeks i think and it will be public... ust in time for Juddy...

ITS V O D A P H O N E !!!

If it is vodafone, we're going to have to put in a word censor to correct the spelling which will drive me insane.

I think mobiles really do give you brain cancer.....

How big was Vodafones sponsorship last year?

Usually... right???.. so you understand a company may splash out in a sport like the AFL (backwater in world sports) because they need name recognition....
Or a company like Coke might do it where they already have name recognition cos theyre sustaining the brand.. everybody knows Vodafone.. so vodafone dont need to splash out HUGE DOLLARS on an AFL club...

The EPL is different cos theyre getting world wide exposure and sustaining/maintaining the brand world wide....

Youll find its usually someone who alot of people dont already know that need to go on brand steroids that might pay bigger dollars...

Optus will remain as a smaller sponsor...

Well if "Massive" is the cryptic hint - lets google! 8)

So here it is:

It could be:

a) A Belgium Light company: "Massive" The group has 5000 employees worldwide and three highly sophisticated production units producing over 150 000 decorative and outdoor fixtures per day. In 2007 it merged with Philips...

b) Animation company: Massive is the premier 3D animation system for generating crowd-related visual effects for film and television. Using Massive, an animator or TD designs characters with a set of reactions to what is going on around them.

c)"Massive Entertainment": Massive Entertainment, founded in 1997, is a premier producer of games and interactive entertainment software for a worldwide market. Its world acclaimed PC game 'Ground Control', launched in 2000, established Massive Entertainment as one of the most innovative developers in the real time strategy genre. Further, the company has developed several integrated games for mobile phone, SMS and WAP platforms, and a number of additional titles for the PC.

In 2002 Vivendi Universal Games (VUG) acquired the company to become one of only two development studios outside North America. Together Massive and VUG are now working on the top entertainment titles of the future.

d) A web developer: Massive was established in 1996 by co-founders Ron Downey, Louise van Rooyen and Derek Ellis. Early work specialised in CD-ROM and web development that garnered numerous industry awards. Massive's reputation for quality and technical innovation quickly attracted highly experienced staff from all around the world.

e) Microsoft????: Microsoft to Acquire In-Game Advertising Pioneer Massive Inc.
Massive’s technology for weaving dynamic, relevant ads into video games will extend next-generation advertising across Microsoft properties and beyond.

I think synners should pm the sponsor to a mod so people can't question his thread when the sponsor is announced. Allllthough it should be obvious that he is correct with the MASSIVE clue eh?

Coke doesn't need the exposure anymore. Not after Ben Cousins gave them free plugs all year.
