Nothing wrong with that email IMO..

They have a plan, half way mark is good timing to make an announcement on the path ahead. Mick to stay? I'm leaning towards him Coaching the year whilst we search for a new Coach. We're overdew for a dew process when selecting a coach.

The only question I'll have is whether we will give Mick a mandate to give kids regular game time? Graham and Holman need a chance.

Is it still a plan if you change your mind every other week?

They've adapted due to the behaviour of Malthouse in his media conference last week.

Pretty simple message now for Mick to broadcast, ask me in two weeks .... Next question.

Whether he stays till eoy or next 2 games, I don't really care.
I just want to see;

Watson
Graham
Boekhurst
Buckley
Holman
Walsh
Johnson
Jakcsh
Wiley
Smith

Played every week at the expense of
Tutt
Jones
Warnock
Armfield
Ellard
Carrazzo
Rowe
Etc
Etc
Etc
Let's see what we've got.... Don't care if we get done by 12 goals each week

You stupid, fat, incompetent turd. There is no pain and frustration over the on-field performance. Anyone with a functioning frontal lobe (approximately 7% of those who post on this page) can tell you that on field form; or there lack of is temporary, and that even a club as clueless as ours can eventually fall over a gun player or two by mistake - case in point, that young key position player we begrudgingly accepted kicking and screaming from Brisbane. The same one we're trying to trade against his better wishes at the end of the year.

The constant source of pain and frustration is the Board of Directors, the one that is constantly filled with the same inbred sons of rich arsehats with not a single clue how to contribute to a football club beyond marvelling at hoe great it is to go to the footy and get a three course meal at the Presidents Lunch for free. The same shamwows of genital discharge who disavowed basic democratic principles to be placed on the board without ever being voted in by the rank and file of the club or allowing them at any stage to say whether they wanted this privilege to continue. If nothing else you make a fantastic justification of the measures necessary of the French Revolution.

Measured decisions that aren't rushed or poorly consulted? You couldn't put down your fourth kebab of the evening quick enouh to tell us we're rebuilding in round @#$%&! two. If only your father was that premature..

You really are a stupid person.

I reckon he would be lucky to last through this weekend.

The media are portraying this as torturing mick by delaying his fate another 2 games.

Wouldnt be surprised if they pull the trigger after this round. This is such a bad image for the club and it won't stop until he goes.

Club is so stupid in their decision making. stating Round 2 rebuild. stating MM here until end of year. stating we are going to move contract decisions early to the bye round. Just a really bad management. Joke of a board.

You can spill a board, but what is the outcome? Another Collins/Smorgan era?

In order to improve you must change...

Only if change is for the better. Who is the alternative? What are they going to do better?

My thought is a board spill would be disastrous without any perspective of the alternative.

Change is no good if the root cause is not addressed with the change.

I could pick a board of 8 TCers who'd show up the current board as hacks.

Come on, then, just for kicks.. Who are the other seven?

Must be reading different papers, the Hun yes but that's because they're after the sensational story - guaranteed they're spewing about yesterday.

I read Caro's and Patrick Smiths versions and they seem to be consistent with most others

I tell you something I am abit over ... mick and has 30 years experience ...

to be frank, I couldn't give a stuff if mick has coached for 30 years, its his 2 1/12 years as coach of Carlton that I care about, and its been pour. Is it completely his fault? Not at all ... I don't hate mick, but it clearly isn't working so why would both parties continue ..

Still think we wilted to Media Pressure in sacking Ratten to appointment Mick, and now we are again wilting to Media Pressure to Sack Mick ...

that is were the board are responsible.

who was on the board when he was appointed? And who remains?

He's relaying information, and is highlighting that some of these moves are a little more nuanced than first glance. Doesn't mean he agrees with all of them.

Yeah he's forced the issue now after being handed an opportunity to change his tune. He can @#$%&! off if these are his true feelings on the matter.

Love him or hate him

He has massively underperformed for the money he was paid.

Maybe in his head he was always expecting to have 5 to 6 years to prove himself.

Disappointing.

Hopefully he won't lob media grenades for the rest of the year.

An attitude change might have been good for the board but rather naive I should think.
All they achieved is more stupidity.

Just goes to further show how dumb they are.
There are times you can't pussyfoot around

If Mick is feeding them rhetoric about how he has been hamstrung by certain issues whether they be logistical, political or financial, he may have been afforded time to get his house in order.

By doing what he's done today, he's shown he doesn't care enough to participate. Even if the board are hopeless, he needs to go.
