All our young players re-signing is compelling evidence in favour of backing in Bolton until they mature a bit more and the injury rate subsides a bit more.

It’s all good. We got Cripps at pick 13.

Thank God for that.

It saddens me though that he now looks like a broken man after each loss. Hopefully he is smiling once the final siren sounds this weekend.

Okay so I'm possibly being unfair to the pro-Bolton camp but honestly, I've been racking my brain for evidence of stuff he's doing well, and I am coming up empty. To be fair, I felt differently at half time in Tassie, but things have plummeted dramatically since then, and I've noticed in most sports that coaches almost never reverse such negative momentum, especially without past successes to boost their cause.

I'm firmly in the "hang in there with Bolton camp", but I think that this is a particularly good point.

Buckley is probably one that goes against this. He took over a young team that had just played off in two GFs and took them south for quite a few seasons. Eddie & Collingwood stood by him through some pretty tough times. Not usually what happens though.

For those who are certain that we're losing because of bad coaching, not a poor or developing list perhaps ask yourself the classic question how many players on that list who are currently available would get a regular game in a top four side.

I'll start: Cripps. (Maybe Walsh?)

Cripps, Walsh, Docherty (pre-injury form) the only certainties to get a game in a top 4 side IMO.

Gibbs 4th in the Carlton B&F to in and out of the Adelaide team 2 seasons later speaks to the current state of our list.

Thanks, that does give me something to add to the "pros" list. I wouldn't go so far as to call it compelling, but it is evidence. :D

Think we can tell he's no good.

Not that many sides have fit lists to choose from. Sides that made the Grand Final last year were cruelled with injury.

No, no & no ... in my humble opinion.

Massive potential in the latter two, and my opinion of Jack is improving every week, but they're not that great right now.

Where did Gibbs come in the Crows B&F last year?

Where did Adelaide finish last year?

Where do they sit this year?

I just want to know what breaking point the pro bolts people have.

If we have a last 12 games going the way we are going, surely that’s enough and he has to go, even for his most ardent supporters?

Mind you I think SOS is just as culpable, of not more so.

4 wins from 42 needs mentioning, we are a complete laughing stock and it doesn’t look like it’s improving anytime soon, and it could be just as bad if not worse next year or two if we have a combination of Simmo/murph/Kreuze/daisy retiring or not getting on the park, and some of the young guys we discover just aren’t that good.

Can’t help but think the club has a Bolton replacement waiting in the wings.

Anyone except that dog Scott.I have followed footy for many many years and the lowest thing i have had the misfortunate to witness was Scott attacking a badly injured Nick Riewoldt.Physically attacking an obviously seriously injured player who was leaving the field of play was the most sickening incident i have ever witnessed in all my years of watching footy. If Scott gets the gig it will be the last straw for me.I promise you i will lift the bails and walk.

Just watching North tonight they are showing that it is in between the ears what wins games not whose on your list.

I know it is only 1 game but these same bunch of nuffies that have been stinking it up all year ( apart from one particular game) are taking it up to and will probably beat a ream that has been in good form.

It's not the list it is getting to the grey matter that counts.

Bolton doesn't appear to be to do that
