Worst case scenario has happened, I'll be in the WA desert for the next couple of weeks and will miss the game.

Not. Happy.

PJ/Shag - can a copy of the Carlton vs Collingwood forum game DVD be reserved for me?

It's fair to say we are s..t...ruggling for numbers.

If you have mates who play footy and would be interested in playing for us, bring them along.

EDIT...Added a few more blokes to the list to bring it to 20.

Ah well I was ony gunna play if CK did. We were going to rotate through the centre to try and break up the inevitable tags they'd put on us.

Nah no chance for me.

Already 1 fat red headed bloke running around in a carlton jumper. Don't need any more...

Don't make me go back and edit all the posts....

Nice though clint. smoooooth.

Turns out I'm out as well.

Got a football training run on that day. Don't where it is or what we are doing, but we've been asked to rock up the footy club and we are being taken to the place by mini bus.

@#$%&! shattered.

Numbers are looking low at the moment. I don't know what you guys want to do, but if it gets any worse we may have to cancel.

i reckon we might have to cancel the game. our numbers have never looked this bad so close to the game.

Especially with so many key players missing. i.e Orangelad, Club29 etc etc

Fact is, the Bomberblitz side are a fair dinkum unit. According to some, particularly Clint, they play a pretty tough brand of footy and even go as far as taking out any good players from the opposition.

Now this isn't me saying we couldn't handle them, because on any day I reckon we could take them and beat them. However, with so many blokes dropping out of the last 3-4 days, I don't want to go into this game at half strength. We'd get beaten pretty badly. It'd probably end up being our worst defeat and they wouldn't even have to cheat.

So, I'm thinking we keep our good form intact for this Summer and load up again next off season.

What do you all think?

Just thinking, with the low numbers due to different reason why people cant play, MAYBE...........we could push the game back a week and play it on the 29th.

We wont be able to push it back any further than that because SS are playing Demonland.

So how bout it?

22nd is locked in for us, we already rejected the 29th due to various reasons

Our numbers are fine and are raring to go - how about recruiting some fellow bluescum from the other Bloos forums if you need a number boost?

We already have, Willo.

We get @#$%&! all from TBV and we get 2 or 3 blokes from CSC. 90% of the team come from TC.

29th is no good for me either. I've got my nephews party that day.

Come on guys, don't wimp out!

If you can only manage 17 - still can play 15 a side (which has been done in forum games in the past)

Seems my latest post over at BB has caused a lot of abuse...

Quote:
weak.

you guys confirmed yonks ago.

Quote:
6th sense i swear. move on to SS...that barks guy knows his shit.

Also Neela is right...for our games we've had 5-10 dropout and we've had plenty of numbers. The idea of confirming is anticipating these kind of things and having around 25-30 ppl...

Quote:
This is bullshit. Do you realise that some people have to travel and plan their weekends around these things?? Who gives a f*ck if you've only got 17? we normally only have about 19. Don't you realise these things are played in the name of fun?? This has been conformed for weeks, we've planned a function around it, I've planned an entire weekend around it. Can't speak for all blitzers but I would definitely be in support of boycotting Carlton as a potential opponent for any game in the future if this game is indeed cancelled.

Quote:
F*ck it, lets just play saintsational every month forever. At least theyre capable of organising a game and actually front. I'm pissed off now.

Quote:
fair dinkum girl blouses over there

edit: no offence to actual girl blouses.. your better than that

Interesting comments. Like the one about the boycotting. Can't see what the point of that would be considering we have never played you before.

Anyway, anyone else think that Willo's idea has merit?
