I've got a thought about getting a Sydney, Carlton Loving personality/celebrity to come to (maybe even play in) our match.

I will keep you informed.

yep thats the one!
thanks heaps. coundlt find it using the search function.

i wanted to get the ball rolling on this again, as i think ti's an awesome idea.

KK i take it you have pretty good ties into red and white online, any chance you can raise the idea over there?

people should also know that there is going to be a pre game event (on the sunday) but i dont have any details as yet.

should be an awesome way to end the year. i played in one forum match last year and it was the best fun i've had in ages. just running around in the navy blues was fun enough!

for this to work i guess we need some one in sydney to organise a ground .

Has RWO changed address? www.redandwhiteonline.com doesn't seem to work any more. I haven't been there for ages.

Should be some fun.

I guess I'll just have to get my fat lazy arse into shape.

Gez the RWO forum has a sticky on its main page with plenty of interest. The most likely ground is the training ground on driver ave outside the SCG. The ground has toilet facilities and a very good surface(was the last time I played there) but im not sure if there are showers available.

KK the site was working yesterday so im not sure what is happening at the moment - I will post a link when it comes online again.

I guess the Sydney/ Wollongong guys who are planning on playing should get together sometime, huh?

Deano, that includes you and your goal flags. Don't forget the overcoat and trilby, old-school style.

nice one clint!

i cant wait for this weekend to come around. should be a blinder.

we should organise for a meal/drinks after the game so everyone can get to know each other a bit better.

will be good to finally meet some of the sydney crew.

side issue - has everyone got carlton footy jumpers? i've got a few i could bring up.

I have one for me, but I will need one for the mate of mine who wants to play. He's only got a *p-too!* North jumper.
