Carlton has placed skipper Anthony Koutoufides and out-of-contract midfielder Scott Camporeale onto its veterans list - outside of the main primary list.
In 2005, both players were veteran-listed inside the primary list of 38 players.
But with both players now veteran-listed outside of the primary list, it now gives Carlton the opportunity of drafting two extra senior-listed players who will be eligible for senior selection in 2006.

Therefore, at this stage - after the first list lodgment with the AFL - Carlton will only have a maximum of four rookie-listed players in 2006. The Blues had six rookies this year.
