There can be no where to hide with respect to how unintelligent as a club we are - and in particular how clueless our Football Dept is - we are the laughing stock of the football world, Media, other 17 clubs and other supporters.

WTF? More info please.

Thousands of us shaken down on a regular basis to avoid something that's quite possibly going to happen in the near future coz, you know, the world, and two types that we're all suspected of being waltz in?

Okay, time for bed. Up late having a wee dram or two to wipe the memory of something unfortunate that happened on TV last night involving a bunch of guys in navy blue and black and white jumpers, the nature of which escapes me now...mission accomplished.

Tough week...was hoping for a silver lining...I guess tomorrow's overdue sleep-in is it.

Go something or other.

Even our cardboard sign guys are stuffed. They're was no cheeky 70 metre barrel or storming through the middle. Reminds me of a game when Judd was still playing against the same opposition. I think it was mcavaney said. Carlton look like a side happy to lose by 20 points

Braithy was this true?

he was holding it like it's broken - made his jersey into a sling. but knowing this guy and his pain threshold, it's probably just a bruise.

never seen a footy player like him.

without harping on and on about coaching...

we all knew sidebotom would ream us on Ollie/ Docs wing.

watching him toss aside ollie's weak ass tackle, flick the ball inside to an open pies forward for an easy goal. watching sidebottom jog past a stationary docherty multiple, multiple times. we all knew this was going to happen - yet the coaches don't put a little wrinkle in there for the pies to have to counter/ think about?

someone mentioned putting the bigger body acres on that wing and swapping. that would have been a good variation of the predictable dross our coaches serve up each week.

even the most ardent voss supporter would admit at 0-4, that there must be a price paid for a lost season in which people were contemplating top 4 (which is now not possible).

Observations- Dan Houston’s kicking is unbelievably good. You notice the skill level difference more when at the match than on tv. He would have been handy to be in Blues colours. 40 m stab pass.

Positives- liked the way Blues went into corridor, good kicking out of defence, good handball chains.. some good handball skills. More handball receives starts forward momentum. Less kick, mark, kick, mark and slow.

Negatives.. game style .. they were in the corridor in midfield, been instructed to attack via wing.. slows down.. predictable Collingwood had 3 defenders set up hot zone 35 m out in front.

Where are the leads 40m 20 m etc. need a better inside 50 kick. Collingwood had Daicos etc doing the inside 50.. Carlton needs their elite kicks doing the inside 50.

No wonder sidebottom admitted he was laughing at us a couple of years ago. Bloke has an absolute picnic every time we play.

The way we raised the white flag from the start of the 3rd quarter was pretty disturbing.
Collingwood have more talent however they play for each other and simply wanted it more than us.

Mmmm
Good question.
Seems like a tough question that one.

At least have someone who makes better decisions than the ones kicking from the wing into f50 now.

Yeah and they've won 11 of the last 13 against us. Why would they respect us?
The only times we beat them was in 2021 when they all hated Buckley and when they had a flat patch in 2023.

Perhaps the issue was contemplating top 4 in 2025. Been pretty obvious going back to 2024 that we didn't really have the talent for top 4. I think we let the media blow smoke up our a55es about our chances. Going into last night we were hoping for a miracle win at best. That somehow all the players on our team whose counterpart was much better on paper would somehow show they were very good players. Hollands, Young, Lord, Moir, White, Motlop, Doch and even Walsh (Daicos) were all expected to not perform as well their collingwood counterpart and it played out that way. Cripps playing injured and being fumbly and TDK getting dominated by Cameron in the 3rd were just added bonuses. Who was going to win the game for us? I think Voss overachieved as a game day coach getting the result under 3 goals. His role in curating and preparing the list is definitely in question though.

I think what we are seeing now is a blessing in disguise. For me this season was always going to be prep for 27'/28' . Obviously we have to trade out some big guns. Free up some sc and start building a list that can play a modern day brand of football. Get in some hard running wingers, flankers and pockets.

I haven’t stopped thinking about this list since reading it last night.

I look at my definites and requirements list and you’re spot on.

I think You’re a good judge of footballers, and totally get where you’re coming from.

We are beyond a Joke!! Its about time the hardcore Supporters take some of the blame because we continued to pour out our hard earned Money for those Duds and we continued to support the club and say next week and next Week, but no one actually had the balls to stand up and Say Enough is Enough..

I been barking like mad Dog for 20 years and continuing..... :banghead: :banghead:

We are a stakeholder of the club. We support the club in the hope those in positions of responsibility and experience far beyond ours, do a good job on our behalf. Don’t blame supporters. They do their fair share of the work.
