3 of the next 4 weeks are against Essendon***, Geelong and GWS in Sydney. When the @#$%&! does it actually get easier.
I saw an article about our horror month coming up... I'm like we just had a horror month.
As soon as the media use the term horror, you instantly know its click bait. Its a bit like the phar lap movie

Looked like the Bombers had a pretty tiring game today

Just a matter of time before we hear a Late Withdrawal due to Injury from Either one of the Mackay Boys!!

They have refused to play against each other for years... Will this year be any different? :donk: :donk:

Do you really believe that there’s two of them?

I'm not overly confident simply because this is a game we are expected to win.
We only seem to play to our potential when underdogs and I don't like all this positive press we are currently receiving.
Draper and Parish both missing for Essendon* so no excuses for us.

Is Draper a chance to return? Thought I heard he was.

My head says I'm confident about this game. My heart's a bit burnt by the ghosts of Essendon* games past, where we've gone in favourites.

Carlton by 61 points

Watching yesterday’s game, it dawned on me just how different the two of them look.

I hate the scum, but at least they’re watchable. Perhaps that’s the issue. The conspiracy believers couldn’t bear the pain of watching the shiteboners.

OR… Ben has had a bit of work done.

I'm just going off last week's injury report which suggests he is still a few weeks away.

Parish and Draper both out for around 4 weeks as of the last injury report.

Langford suffered a corked hip against Gold Coast. If he doesn't get up that's a big out, averaging 2.3 goals a game in 2024.

Dumbers will play a 'play on at all costs and run as fast as possible' game ...
They play it well, and that's the style that seems to trouble us most....

We have to win at the contest, but apply good defensive pressure on the outlet when WE have the ball.... something we seem to go to sleep on.... in case of turnover. (improved after Geelong, and with Fog and Cincotta playing a role)

Fingers crossed. We should beat them, but I worry we'll be beaten in the coaches' box

Go Blues

worry we'll be beaten on the coaches box?

The set up was really good.... Always has been..

But if things need changing during the game we seem slow (at best at a break) with the game already away from us....

My gut feeling anyway
