Bit harsh on Harry, it's vital that we get him back

Yeah fair enough….

looking at it again…I’m thinking Cerra
before Walsh…and Harry before McGlovin…!

i just feel sharpening up our defensive
kicking can save us more goals…!

ergo Boyd…!

kindest regards tommi

either way…glad I’m not asked for
my opinion by the committee…!

I really don't believe that's an issue

Exactly... It's not like our team has been caught napping over the past 8 weeks!

All teams eventually lose.

Not this team, not this year.

....and definitely not to Gold Coast.

Big couple of weeks in the reserves ahead, Gold Coast doing well in the VFL, then fairly likely we'll make the wildcard round. Hopefully another win to get a game into Harry, JSOS, whoever needs it ahead of an elimination final.

Yes , exactly Rod . We don't want blokes coming in stone cold . They need to clock up some K's .

All we have to do is keep bringing the same game and intent every game, and our depth players covering the 6 out, along with our Reserves team are playing the same tune.

I think we pick the best available, and we win.

If we add a 3 players to get a couple games into them before Elimination Final, we should.
Treat the games as practise games with intent to keep winning, and holding a spot in this Finals team.

If Hewett and Kennedy are available and fit in a Final, I'd play them both. Made for Finals footy.
As long as they bring the same intent as the team, and Hewett is leading the way.

Pittonet did a lot of grunt work that goes unnoticed. Gawn didn't star, nor did he win the game for the Dees. Pitto did his job. So did the mids.

Glad someone else noticed Pitto's invaluable grunt work . The discerning eye of Bondi notice's these things .

I thought the big fella did okay too. He kept Gawn honest.

I feel we badly need Harry back. The amount of inside fifties we had we should have belted Melbourne, but we kept bombing it long to Charlie. Adding Harry down there as a lead up marking forward makes our forward line much more potent.

He would have been handy in that frantic last 5 minutes too.

Yep what i was thinking too. He is good for a strong mark down the line. We cant have Curnow double teamed in every game, we will wear him out. Voss just needs to get them to lead in different areas. We need a confident fit and firing McKay and that will make us stronger.

Absolutely. Way too predictable with Charlie the only genuine target and Melbourne just flooded our forward line and made scoring tough.

We just have to make sure we don’t get sucked into bombing it again just because we have another tall target.

Big footy rumors have Harry back this week (next at latest) but also that Cerra's injury is worse than first thought....may be done for the year.

Would be a huge blow because he would surely have been leading our B&F before going down. It was also one of the best halves of footy anyone has played for us this year before going down against Collingwood.

Done for the home and away year or done for the entire year? That would be an enormous escalation from a 2-3 week hamstring strain

I raised this on a Facebook post and got howled down. Good to see the collective TC are not as dumb

H & A is my bet.

He was always going to miss 3 games according to rhino?
This week is his 3rd game. If he needs another game off then there's the rest before the Finals.
He's just warming up. Like Walshy, and Harry, and Gov was good last week.

if McKay can be made to stay the flock out of Charlie's way then well and good.

But FFS he can butcher most of his leads and then utterly butcher the hundred year old art of kicking a goal with a drop punt.

Trade asap.

or put him in defence and hopefully McGovern has served enough penance down back to make a better fist of going forward again to replace him.
