We did what the really good teams can do. Play crap for the majority of a match, yet pull the game out of the fire. Belief! The belief that you're a damn good side and you're never beaten, that you can win from anywhere. Just so proud, great coaching too. At half time I thought it was how far the Saints.

An old joke, but a goody. Q: What is the difference between St. Kilda and a bra? A: A bra has two cups.

Good point.
Took 80% of game time to truly get the game on our terms.
Saints applied 50 tackles in H1. We had to show grit and deal with it and in the end show the cream rises to the top.
Arguably our best win of the year.

I'm not sure I'll sleep tonight such is the hard on I have for Dows goal.

Try putting this in.

Can't remember the last time we flipped a game on its head like that. Normally we give it up when it gets in that situation. This time there was real fight. This told me more about the current team than any of the other wins we dominated from the start, including Port and Collingwood.

Also recommend Sam Mitchells presser after Hawks beat Pies. fair bit of insight there about Pies (well he mirrors what I was saying how we could beat them hahah!), spoke pretty honestly, not too fake which these events tend to have for obvious reasons

The Acres play to set up Charlie in Q4 was absolutely top shelf, knocked the saints player on his ass then had the composure to not take the shot himself. All 4 of our last qtr goals were bloody superb, sounded like the roof was coming off on TV

Well done Michael Voss. Our second half forward structure & pressure won us the game.

I wonder if the 9 day break helped us, compared to their 7. In any event great win, a bit like in 1992 when we overran these turds after half time at Waverley.

Go Blues!

Wow wow wow.

What a roller coaster. I wrote them off at half time and I look like a fool now.

Happy to eat humble pie.

Blake acres was amazing also today.

I kinda wish he returned that silly flex rubbish that marshall gave him in the 1st quarter.

Rub it in his face.

Amazing grit and guts from the boys today.
Undermanned and just kept pushing.

I’m glad Acres didn’t return the flex.
Keep focused on the game. Leave that crap to the pretenders.
That flex didn’t age very well for Marshall…

How good the Acres bump on Mason Wood for the loose ball, and then fakes a kick and dishes it out to Charlie for the sealer. Team player. I never doubted his AFL quality, Lol.

When I the last time Blues had kicked 3 or less goals to half time and came home to win by that same 3 goals?! I can't even think of one.

Unbelievable. Didn’t see it coming. Didn’t think we had it in us, today.

Enormous win. So bloody proud.

Think I need to get used to this new Carlton.

Same. I really didn't expect to win today.
I missed the first half, which sounds like that is a good thing.
Our second half was amazing.
So happy for Dow and Fisher, they made the most of their chances.
With so many players missing that was our best win of the season.
Hopefully Kemp is okay.
Go blues

I think most of us Gave up on Fisher and were unhappy to see him in the team ahead of others, but Today He Gave us a lesson in not giving up too soon....

He was so dominant with his running and kicking.... he made a difference....We just need to see consistency

The squad mentality, the next man in, is Voss' mantra. Fisher and Dow excemplified this today. I now think it is fair to say we are the in form team of the competition. We must maintain our confidence for three more matches and finals. The way we are playing there should be no limitations on what we can achieve in season 2023. Having said this, as always we are a week by week proposition.

Incredible win. Backs against the wall at half time against a bogey side with so much on the line and we flipped the game on its head and buried them.
The pressure we applied in that second half felt immense at the ground.
Newman BOG. Acres outstanding.
That really was a win full of character without Walsh, Cerra, Harry, JSOS, Kennedy and McGovern.
The atmosphere at the ground when we kicked those goals in the fourth quarter was top shelf.
Also such an important win in the context of the race to finals.

The day Tom Alvin's dad died from memory? Tommy still played.

When we hit the lead I stood up and cheered and nearly got king hit by a saints "supporter"
