Same. I didn't think we'd win leading up t the game so I'm not tooooo gutted I guess.

Tigers just had a bit more composure at the right times, & played the conditions better in the first half. Pretty sure I counted 3 of those soccer off the ground to teammate who marks kicks to Richmond, but that's the kind of team they are. They get all sorts of flukey lucky bounces & little tap ons, but they make it happen.

Doc & Saad were both enormous. Only saw 1 replay of the Saad eye injury but it looked dodgey AF by Lynch to me

LOB, I guess we got the reality that most of us have resigned to with him; some really good passages, no doubt. But also his share of head in your hands stuff.

Anyway I liked the spirit in the second half a lot. Thought we really started shepherding for each other a lot better & standing over the ball a lot stronger in contests.

I had no confidence about tonight but for some weird reason I think we'll beat Freo

Tigers were too good….smashed us at the stoppage…..cant win when you have +20 less I50’s…..lets learn from it rather than believe the umpires were an issue

We are better than last year
Obviously
Not far off it
Our bottom 4 or 5 players are pretty ordinary
But with some decent recruiting and/or kids developing like Carroll we can challenge in 2023
Not this year

It’s such an even comp
Luck injuries form play a huge part
When n we have had chances to smash teams we haven’t
Probably will cost us
% as I have said is massively important
More than ever

That overturned goal and the goal that resulted from that to them was just a mental crusher. From "3pts down" I reckon we win from there with the momentum. Unfortunately it crushed our momentum instead.

Still you can give a side 6 goals to nothing start in 45 minutes and expect to win. Just not switched on enough tonight. To many mistakes.
That goal review was a farce.

You are both spot on.. and perfect summary really....with the exception of Saad's volley (WTF) we just didn't adapt to the conditions

The umpiring was more ridiculous than frustrating.. and that's saying something...
I was at the game and have no idea what some were payed for.... nor the players.

didn’t Kennedy just sign a new multi-year contract? i hate it when players sign and then slack off.

put setters in the middle next week for Kennedy. gotta try something for two weeks in a row our kids have been pantsed.

Fair chance it cost us the game. How much do those idiots get paid in the Arc again

ARC seems to be using webcams. it’s a joke. should be using 100 fps cameras, the place is lit up like a tv studio and yet the video quality is VHS.

Pleased Voss called out the midfield multiple times in his presser. Lopsided I50 count and their hardness in and around the contest compared to us.

You simply won’t win AFL games conceding 70 plus I50s.

Agree with what has been posted so far.

Terribly disappointed with our small forwards. No goals in weather conducive to smaller types nor enough pressure or tackles in the forward half. They haven’t done anywhere near enough the last few weeks.

Thought JSOS kept competing and pleasantly surprised how Boyd performed so well done to him. Need TDK to nail his rare opportunities at goal.

It was a very strange decision, that’s for sure.

I thought the video evidence had to be conclusive?

Wondering if the ARC had access to another angle they didn’t show on tv because stuffed if I could see any ball/finger/hand deviation.

While probably irrelevant, the fact that the umpire's call was a goal makes it more frustrating!

Hilarious how bad the footage is that they use to review scores. You'd get better resolution and framerate by using a set of crayons and a flip-book.

I think I've worked it out.
It looked liked Broad was shaking his hand, maybe that's the go.
All our defenders should shake their hands when trying to spoil shots on goal.

Crippa was right to get angry. Propelling a player forward into another - teammate or no - is a very dangerous practice. That was the second time it happened.

I’m bitterly disappointed with the loss but really proud of the boys. Absolutely NOTHING went right for us last night but there is a spirit building within this team.

As others have said, the downpour in the first q. played right into their hands, and in a blink of an eye the game was almost out of reach. Almost.

At least we all have a new most hated player (hint: not Lynch).
