Tis only preseason, but we look more confident and cohesive.

I thought we were going to cough up a couple of junk time goals then just to remind our supporters that it's still Carlton...

Good first half, a lot to work with.

Looked like a slight ankle injury. He didn’t look overly concerned about it on the bench, but I’d be tempted to wrap him in cotton wool for the rest of the game.

Thanks for that!

I’ve liked LOBs efforts too

Looks a much improved player - hope he keeps it up.

Only the first half of a practice match but we moved the ball like the good teams at times...

Only early, but we seem to just be doing the simple things well. The looks easier for us than it has, and I think (hope) that is largely down to a more effective game plan where we have players available in good positions, making decision making easier.

Also don’t think we’ve had one Teague special goal out the back

So, are we blowing the lid off yet?
Seen enough for now. Rest everyone of any importance in the second half. Let's get to round 1 with everyone who is available absolutely cherry ripe ready to go.

I’d keep Cripps, Saad & Harry in the sheds in the second half. They’ve had a good hit out, not sure what’s to be gained by keeping them on the ground. They can run a couple of extra kms at training if need be. They are too valuable to us to risk them. Give Cottrell, Parks & Williamson a run.

If Kennedy can keep up this form, and Cripps can get back to somewhere near his best, and you add in Cerra and Hewett, we suddenly have a bloody deep midfield

Kennedy looks fantastic, like he has a big tank now to run up and down the ground. His marking is a real asset.

Cottrell, Parks & Williamson are our subs tonight. I assume they only played a half in the VFL game.
