I’d drop Murphy for next game and then play he and Eddie together in the last round. Let them play 300 and 350 together as they retire together.

I haven't had a look at stats yet, but that's embarrassing.

I thought his game was embarrassing before I saw that number.

NO effort. NO intensity. NO desire. No awareness of what's around him.

Why was it the same from his room mate at Geelong Grammar?

You know who I'm talking about: LOB

yep we should win = we lose.

So can we try Kemp, Ramsay and Carroll? Nothing to lose and maybe something to gain?

At least they have showed form, unlike some of the players selected recently from the VFL, before Honey got selected.

I hope Teague realises we've found someone in Honey.

Like Norf these buggers also had 80% disposal efficiency.

Our players would achieve that too if we had a game plan like theirs.

We got cut up, spread and slit open in a game of patience.

Teague did nothing about it after half time.

TC's Pregame ideas were on the money: our best tagger to tag their best midfielder (Ed on ......who cares anymore

Our primary game plan was to move the ball like that even better but some in the supporters base where sooking it up because we had no defence but fail to acknowledge we have a midfield unable to win clearances and run back to defend. So our ball movement game plan which was the original plan took a back seat to appease the sooks.

It could have been worse.
If it wasn't for lockdown we would have gone to the game :hitcomputer:

Well, I hate it when our club colours change. Surely there are other ways to get the message across.

Sadly on a day where the club is trying to raise awareness and support for domestic violence against women, that shithouse display would no doubt have added considerable danger to at-risk partners of some members and supporters in some very volatile households during lockdown, particularly if gambling is involved

A cruel irony of our latest failure

Are you seriously suggesting that supporters get so angry about their team's poor performance that they get violent?

Teague setting up the game to play Harry McKay high and Charlie Curnow deep was about as smart as the mother giving the last piece of beef to Greg instead of Kelsey

That's not the right thing to do when we want to be finishing off the year with something to build on.

Murphy's 300 and Betts' 350th are fine if they are fit to contribute to a win, or at least an improvement in performance.

If Betts' experience was so important to us, why was the forwardline so disorganised all day?

Shouldn't matter against the Gold Coast in Melbourne. We should beat then if that played back pocket and half back flank. This one is on the players.

What about starting our best Midfielder on the half back line.
Oh and Ed Curnow playing forward while Miller ran around with his own ball was a master stroke.

He is never fit. He is 34. He is cooked.

Sad but true. Nobody beats father time. Not even Eddie. Hopefully crowds are allowed for round 23 so he gets the send off he deserves.

No chance. We’ll be in lockdown for months a la Sydney

Why should we care about our club colours? No one at the club gives a shit.

They're our club colours - shouldnt be touched on game day just my opinion.

Big banners around the ground would likely have had a better effect than changing the navy blue to baby blue or orange or whatever...I don't like changing club colours.

I agree

It starts at the ruck.

Pittonet tries hard and is competitive. That's not the answer.
DeKoning is a 2nd string ruckman. He needs another 2-3 years of strength and development.
What the @#$%&! is Kreuzer doing? Was he advising him today? He got smashed by a ruck rover. Out smarted.

Dow> Where the @#$%&! are you?
Kennedy is doing well for us, but he needs wheels.
At one stage we had the cumbersome Cripps and Kennedy both in there.
The take longer than the Queen Mary to turn around. They are not nimble and mobile enough to have 2 of them in there at the same time imo.

Rebuild midfield as obvious it can get and has been past five years
