Surely a few runs up and back shouldn’t waste a professional footballer to that extent that quickly. |

This game will be a real doozy, imagne the Pies approching the game with their usual intent. I hope we donn't get hammered and that the boys go in hard at it do us proud. Pies and Port will be obstructions and more pain. Look forward to the Lions at the Gabba a little easier. |

Damning vision... But they weren't on their own... The worry is the lack of effort was contagious... (yes even my absolute fave the Fish was guilty at one stage, add Lang.. Even Simmo, Ed at different stages....) Mind you there may also be a little of 'I don't know where I'm meant to run and who I'm meant to pick up' about it... (mind, that doesn't explain broken tackles and not chasing  ) Go Blues |

Trying to look on the bright side, if we bring back our defensive game plan, won't that be a bit of a problem for Collingwood? i.e. if you compare their games against Geelong and Melbourne, it's clear which strategy works best. In addition to the usual Carlton habit of trying hard against good sides after @#$%&! up/not giving a toss against crap sides, it bodes well for a good contest undone by a wasteful third quarter, and a brave 4-goal loss. |
