A good base of players 23 and under and all contributing in different ways. You won't achieve much by having a team full of 18/19 year olds, you need to have a balance otherwise they won't develop. Bolts and the match committee have been spot on the last couple of weeks.

The average age of the list was 25yr 4mth versus collingwood's 24yr 10mth, so not a huge difference and definitely not an old list. As a comparison North fielded a side today that had an average age of 25yr 4mth and Adelaide's was 25yr 6mth.

Very proud of the club and rapt for Bolts that his diligent work is getting rewards. It was fantastic to see us stand up after last weeks great win. Too often in recent years we would have watched us get run over and lose by 5. Was great to watch and see the amount of chat and marshaling all our players are doing.
