Bolton: I'd understand we'd have some pretty disappointed members and supporters right now. #AFLDonsBlues
Bolton: Today's loss stings and will motivate us throughout pre-season. #AFLDonsBlues
Bolton: Essendon**** came with a sharp offence. We didn't come with an appetite to defend. #AFLDonsBlues
Bolton: We're proud that our club is united. Everyone is on the same page. That's the main thing we can take from the season. #BoundByBlue
Bolton: We need to build depth. We'll go to the draft and we're open-minded to trading. #BoundByBlue
Bolton: Our recruiting will be broad. We need to build depth in all positions. #BoundByBlue
Poor prick has a huge task ahead of him.
How is he any different from the other coaches we've had the last 20 years, yet this guy is the "poor prick" (this isn't aimed at you in particular Brad).
I don't understand the blind faith people have in this bloke.
All I have heard is tough talk and cliches and people act like he is the messiah.
I don't think he will be our next premiership coach.
The club knee jerked and went the polar opposite to Malthouse and despite his faults he wasn't the source of the problem.
Not sure they will dig themselves out of the hole they put themselves in anytime in the next ten years.
Great. Post. Bolton is a good coach. Main difference is he can teach and we are capable of 2 way run and team defence. He is inclusive. I agree Malthouse was scape goated. Hopefully we give Bolton the time required which is realistically another 4 years with visible improvement in 2019. Next year will be tougher and wear our patience. I predict 6 or 7 wins anymore is a triumph
