Cripps doubtful......eeeek

According to?

bone bruising in his knee - was always a test

Speculative on my behalf though
......and I can't understand how graham gets another chance

I asked the same question but if Cripps isn't playing then maybe Graham is the inside replacement. Only speculation as you say. If Cripps plays I would not expect Graham to play.

Can't believe these players below survived the chop,
White, Rowe, Armfield, Kreuzer, Jones, Thomas and Buckley..
Oh that's right, we have no depth!!!!

Rowe and Buckley probably deserve their spot, the rest I agree

Jones played well, ran, presented, crashed packs, should've been payed a mRk, should've had two or three goals.. He was good and as a result, Caz got into the game, Soj also. This team hasn't worked out how to play alongside each other yet. This will require some time and coaching. Let's see

Looks like Everitt and Graham aren't playing VFL.

Agree... I can't believe the amount of crap Rowe cops from our supporters...

Yes his abilities are limited but no one can deny that he's had a great season thus far.

Whilst I would be happy to have had wholesale changes this week we have to have the cattle to bring in. I'd have been in favour of promoting anyone fit, ready and even borderline deserving of a chance and then dropping those whose performance has been below par (we have plenty). We have no-one to replace Rowe as a tall KD simple as that. Jones showed good signs but continues to be the "almost" good player - he almost holds the mark, almost kicks the goal etc. But even in almost status he was important structurally to get Cas some opportunities without being heavily outnumbered and for that alone he deserves to keep his spot. Buckley I thought was one of the sparks for our turnaround. Army has flattened off after his hot spell earlier this year but continues to earn a spot. White and Thomas had poor games but don't deserve the flak they cop. Kreuzer probably shaded Phillips and over the course of the season has clearly outperformed him and anyway Bolts seems to want the 2 ruckmen and even if he didn't we don't have anyone to play that KF/relief ruck role given Cas's knee seems to be restricting him unless we throw McKay in and he is young, coming back from injury and not ready to take on any substantial ruck minutes against mature opponents let alone one of Gawn's calibre. So I think Kreuzer and Phillips are a lock. Mind you, if I was looking to drop one of them it probably be Kreuz instead of Phillips because I think Kreuz could do with the break, even if it is nearly season's end.

Personally, I would have been looking to promote anyone fit and ready and deserving of a go and then drop from among the many candidates on the basis of team balance and need for a break. We have looked as much as anything else tired over the last few weeks, but be that as it may the MC have decided on the single change and that a fairly like=for-like.

I know BB didn't have the best of games last week but I am surprised they dropped a runner. I would have thought he might be maintained for this game and someone slower dropped.

I am guessing Melbourne will do us for speed all over the park and win by 20 points. At the same time, there is nothing much to ba gained from a win.

I sincerely hope I am wrong but I really can't see us winning this and then next week we will be in the gun.
