I watched the replay of the NAB game and I think we are a chance.

      ......................................................Oh, you're serious :|

I understand. I'm sort of serious based on a lot of things, but I guess...

I'm optimistic.

We've shown a bit of fight since the Saints loss against top 8 teams.

Anything can happen. I'll throw another hundred on them. Why not?

Kreuzer showed a bit. That took me by surprise. Weitering to kick 5... :gift:

If you'd like to hang around Bourke St Mall around 4.30pm this Saturday Afternoon, there'll be the sight of a very out of condition 50 year old walking up and down, naked and in a stooped position if we win.

I think we've missed Murphy's drive and speed a lot.
He could have got us over the line in up to 4 games. Definitely in the last 2 matches.

Haven't missed our seniors Everitt Thomas Walker or Jammo.

Hoping someone steps up in addition to usual the Simmo Doc Cripps Weiters.
Maybe Everitt may show something to help us with that improvement on last week.

Their replacements are fine. They are building endurance. SOS is a good one too.
If Boekhurst and Sumner get a good run we can cut them up.

Bolton is our weapon.
Would be a great help to have a parochial Carlton crowd turn up like the NAB game.
Maybe Lady Luck will go our way.
If Hawks can drop 5%. Hawks are 2 games ahead and can take the foot off the accelerator. Fingers crossed.

I feel we need to take them on ala 4th Qtr v Weagles to cut their usual zoning.
Boltons defense worked a treat last week.

Blues by 4 points . Maybe I'm dreaming. We'll see.

Go Blues. Enjoy the weekend.

It does say a bit that we don't seem to have particularly missed Daisy. Helped us win the game against Freo. But hasn't really done all that much else as our highest paid player.

100% agree.

Currently he's ranked #378 in the AFL Player rankings.

We got him for another year though!

Yeah, I'm just hackin on ya bondi. I get what you're saying. There's always hope, right? And we can play decent footy when we're on.

Hopefully Hodge won't play and I'd also like to see JW spend the 2nd half up forward if we're not getting slaughtered.

Everitt probably deserves the call up given JF's good reviews

100% agree.

We got him for another year though!

He has an option for a 5th year unfortunately.
At least we don't have Tom Boyd's contract to worry about, the paper had him ranked in the 400's and is one the highest paid players.

At least he has only cost us $50k a game, what have Jacksch, Whiley, Dick and Tutt cost us per game? That's the old Carlton! We headhunted blokes that cant even get a game lol

Kerridge hasn't moved up much either on the back of a consistently good season though.

The more I look at the Hawks, the more I feel we are close to beating them.

I know they're on top, and so were the Swans and others and we have had their measure.
Things have fallen Hawks way rather than them being as dominant as other years.
No Buddy and No Roughead for a start.
Hodgey hasn't got Murphy to smash up ala Dangerfield madness
We are hitting form. They have had hard matches.

Game SOLD OUT!

Carlton supporters galore.
We can win this, and I feel we will. Its a home away from home game for The Blues.
Bolton is Tasmania.

BOLTON. Say no more.

I do remember a pre-season game there like 10 years ago against the Hawks (?? I Believe) where like 80% of the crowd were wearing Navy Blue.

Pretty much the entire stadium was cheering 'Kouta! Kouta! Kouta!' - and he wasn't even playing!

don't know if we will win. but going there with hope and belief. I'm excited. last time i saw Carlton play in Tasmania, Mil Hanna tore up the bombers in a preseason game. so excited. No plane trip for me to see the boys, they are coming to see me!

And i won't be the only Navy blue there.

Was the year we won the wizz fizz cup. Big Blues crowd, looks like a repeat of that on the way.

It's an embarrassment that we are paying this guy for this output. This is what happens when you let 1 man run the show. Hopefully we learnt our lesson.
