WARNING ROSE COLOURED GLASSES AHEAD!

You know I hate to be positive ray of light amongst the doom and gloom here but, I don't believe our list is that bad !

We have a group of boys who sleep with the light on, nice, sociable boys, who don't have a dash of cauliflower amongst the lot of them.

They have lost faith with the gameplan, maybe the coach, certainly each other, I firmly believe we have a better list, on paper at least, than Richmond, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, West Coast, St Kilda, Collingwood, .........

I've stuck up for Mick until last weekend, the confidence, fragile to begin with, was smashed by him saying we cant get any good players, they were all told they're on the trade table, after round 2!!! That's not how you build confidence in young men.

We have better footballers than 18th on the ladder, our recruiting has been poor, but our leadership worse!

* OK BACK TO ARMAGEDDON

Yeah, I'm not sure our list is that bad either. I'm not claiming we have the league's best playing group, but I'm not sure we have the worst, as our ladder position would suggest.

Baker should be positive influence, plenty of experience in very different structures will have prepared him for the challenge.
I expect a very keen and fresh approach with a close connection toon to the playing group. Let's hope it clicks .
This is his moment on the big stage let's hope he grabs it with enthusiasm and relive some of the disbelieve we to be engulfed in.
We're due for some luck, we may just be pleasantly surprised.
Ciao

I'd rather get as many wins as possible, gone are the days of wishing to lose.... look where that has got us now.

Happy to take the medicine.. our cherry has already been popped.

Give us number one. Imagine that.. a number one to a number one to number one to a number one. Triple orgasmic for Bruuuce.

Then again...

I believe we will have 3-4 wins for the rest of the year. Kids will bring some enthusiasm, some players will be playing their last games and other sides not making finals will play kids etc.

Anyone that wants the spoon is a loser. Sad to see so many losers on this site. No pride.

Getting the number one pick doesn't mean you will get the best player in the draft. Scully, Jack Watts, Kruze , Gibbs, Murphy. I don't think any of those players are the best in their class. It is a stupid thought process. 2 out of 31 nba lottery drafts has the number 1 pick won a title with the team he was drafted to. They left or are no good.

All about a winning culture. Fresh start. New coach. Got rid of the dead beat coach we had. You actually saw some life in the players last week and it looked positive without judd, murphy, gibbs, kruzer, jamison. If we go to a run and carry game style down the corridor, we will have some positive results.

If we do get the first pick how will that impact our 2 potentail FS candidates? Say for instance SOS&S nominates the Blues and another club chimes in with thier first round pick for him. Does that mean we need to use pick 1 on SOS&S? Same goes for Rice.
