Wherever they play him they will need to use a GPS unit cause he has a tendency to get lost...

Where will Sheehan play do you think? What position ? Havent really seen him in the VFL.

I'd expect him to start as sub and play HB/wing when he comes on.

A great move and not before time - need to give all of the potentials a taste before the end of the season

Cazzesman won't take to kindly to you stealing my material.

Always good to see someone new getting a chance. Hope then kid goes well.

I wonder how the likes of Lucas, Holman, McInnes, Watson, Garlett, Reynolds feel. Can't get a run yet an Irish kid with less than 12 months under him in the game steps up.

Sheehan was one of the Best on ground for Ireland in the last International Rules Series that whipped Australia pretty badly, he can mix it in this company.

Sheehan hasn't been killing it in the VFL but he's shown glimpses. I reckon he might be one who finds AFL easier to play than VFL. Mind you, I would say the same thing about Lucas & Garlett. MM might be making a statement about endeavour and application over Aussie Rules talent....

I have moderate expectations about Sheehan's contribution this week, but I'm glad he's getting a taste of it.

Just keep using the words "half back flank" in your sentences and I'm sure Cazzesman will fill the rest in for you.

No disrespect to Watson, but I hope he doesn't come in for Hendo. A forward line of Watson, Casboult & Waite? The opposition will waltz out of our forward line and we won't be able to lay a finger on them.

I'd like to see something like-

Simmo Rowe White
Tuohy Jamo Yarran
Docherty Gibbs Curnow
Thomas Waite Judd
Murphy Casboult Johnson

Wood Carrazzo Graham

Inter: Armfield Bell Ellard
Sub: Sheehan

In- Armfield, Sheehan
Out- Hendo (inj), Brock

Brock to play if Judd doesn't come up. Whichever one of them players, expect them to spend quite a bit of time forward.

The jury is out on Johnson, but he has a go and this could be a good game for him to take a greater role in the more mobile forward set up.

Good luck to Sheehan. The Irish boys sometimes have difficulty coming to terms with the physical aspect of the game, but my initial impression of Sheehan is that he is more physical than Tuohy but not as skilful as Tuohy with our ball yet. Not that Sheehan doesn't have decent skills, but Tuohy's kicking ability at an early stage stood out. Don't expect miracles from Sheehan first up. Good to see another left footer in the team.

I'm not focused on Sheehan doing anything spectacular with the ball at all. What this kid needs to do is have an impact. Nothing more. If he gets 15 minutes then he has 15 minutes to impact the game in any shape or form, just show something worth working with.

Goast Gold Suns huh? Another AFL love child filled with talent that no one outside of Queensland cares about. Should make for some riveting football ...

Hurry up 2015 already.

I blame Madhouse if Sheehan doesn't come in and dominate

They had him earmarked to play games very early on...

A Suns win is probably not what Collingwood want.

Absolutely!

I wonder if Mick will have the balls to not play him as the sub?.....
