Take out an NQR Warnock, Carrazzo and Walker, throw in a fresh Waite, Wood & Robinson... and you get a win. Simples.

The first two should never play for CFC seniors again. Nick Graham needs to play every game until the end of the year.

Fair play to Warnock, he has been on his own for 17 rounds this season. Wood took a while to work his way into form worthy of selection, and Kreuzer should have been back by now to provide some relief.

Easily the most complete season Warnock has had in his career, but it's a shame his clear intelligence doesn't translate into footy smarts as often as we'd all like.

Gibbs and Waite ... brilliant. Waite should never have been dropped.

Got killed in the hit outs but what does it matter if you set up right. Great to have a mobile tall in Wood able to make space and clunk a few around the ground, as well as exert some physical pressure around the stoppages. We've been playing with 17 men with Warnock in the side for most of the year.

Lost the hitouts 49-33 but won the clearances. Combine that with the influence around the ground I'll take that any day.

What happened during the week? News doesn't filter through to Sydney unless you seek it.

Some concern in the Carlton rooms about Troy Menzel who tweaked his LARS knee late. Malthouse says "the docs don't know". May have scans

What odds that wood wood have more stats in 1 game then Warnock all season?

$1.01

Hope that's the last we see of Warnock.

The 3 talls in the fwd line work really well. Separated and all found space.

Robbo and Bell do so much hard work that goes unnoticed

Sam Rowe

Great four quarter effort

Positives: Gibbs (deserves now to be considered elite), Murph, Yarran, Hendo a force again up forward, Waite resuming as the consumate talent tease, Wood providing an option around the ground, Rowe has become a footballer

Negatives: Don't like to bag when we had a good win but our lack of midfield depth kills us. Too many don't get it enough and hurt the opposition. So reliant on Judd, Murph, Gibbs, Simmo

Just a pleasing 4qtr effort with contributors all over the park.

Simmo was epic all night. Gibbs, Murphy, Judd all picthed in. Rowe was excellent, is easy to underestimate in one on ones but he is usually very good. Has been great for our structure and added versatility to our list.

Waite showed us his best, if only we got that every week.

Yaz oozes class, still not as solid for a full game as we hope he can be, but getting better. Docherty was great in patches too. Ed done good on that flog Harvey.

Shame to have some injury concerns in the wash up.

Yep - Sam Rowe - playing very good football now. We have found our CHB.

Wood no world beater but the side looked more potent with him there.

Henderson steadily growing in stature. Hopefully gets through a full pre-season next year.

Fingers crossed for Menzel and Everitt.

Waite was poor before he got dropped. He has come back and played a ripper game. Perhaps it vindicates Micks decision of sending him to the twos to find some form and some heart.

Robbo deserved that report though, and he left his man to apply the bump.

Was vicious and stupid, because his man ran ahead and received the next ball. Saw red.

Its a contact game, Carlton are generally pretty soft, someone needed to stand up. I think he'll be ok, hit him below the head.

Deserved to be reported because he left his man?

Good to finally see some mongrel in the team with White and Rowe.

Loving what they bring every week and the support they provide Jamieson.

Gibbs was a monster in the middle tonight and Judd is just,,,,,,special.

Good game by Malthouse and his crew, the tactics and match-ups were spot on even after losing Everitt early. Credit where credit is due.

Wood got smashed in the ruck.

His around the ground work was slightly better than Warnock. Inside work the same if not worse.

Even result at best. That is being generous.
