Even though GWS are on the improve and we're the most maddeningly inconsistent side ever, you would, ideally, take the chance to rest anyone who is struggling a little (or would rather avoid the trip to Sydney - the bus ride from the Airport will take longer than the flight). However, our depth is being tested just at the moment, and there's maybe only four players from the seconds who deserve a run; Cachia, Johnson, Garlett and Lucas. And even then, aside from Cachia, you'd be picking them somewhat speculatively.

You'd think the boys have learnt their lesson about not turning up against Brisbane?

But then again probably not..

I was listening to SEN tonight on the way home, when a Carlton supporter called in and said that the biggest mistake Malthouse has done this year is not give Cachia a permanent spot ahead of the rest! He Suggested that Cachia could have made a real difference to some of the games we lost!!

The Young fan mentioned that Cachia has been best on Ground for the Bullants week in, week out and he has taken his game to an elite level, way ahead of Mclean, Carrazo, Robinson and the rest of the midfield group...

I personally felt there was a bit of exaggeration there since I seen Cachia last year and know he had a long way to go, But I have never seen him play this year!!!

What do you guys think? is he really stiff not to get a game so far?

Cachia and Graham have been good by all accounts.

But I think racking up possies isn't as important as being able to break clear and carry the ball forward before disposal.

You'd have to think that McLean is nearing the end.

If my record of going to Carlton games is anything to go by (2 wins from about 15 games), we'll probably lose.

You're welcome to stay away...

I thought we needed the picks.

Pre match informal get together for Carlton fans at the Novotel bar.

There are few options in the Olympic Park precinct but we have had a good history of dominating this venue.

Everyone welcome, family friendly too. Early game so I am sure people will start arriving 1130-12pm. It is close to the train.

They pushed Hawks to 7 points, we got beat by 28, so a 21 point win to GWS- no brainer. Seriously they have 300% more talent and will only have to do what they have been doing lately to dominate us except for Judd, Gibbs and maybe Yazz ( for about 15 mins).

Play Graham for whole game and bring in Cachia for Brock the very slow Rock.

How's that 300% calculated?
I did some sums and only had them at 241%
Rounding?

Yep, always round up. Maybe Mark and Mick can take Boydy out for a Souva while we're up there ?

We re repeat offendors unfortunately.
Didnt turn up against Richmond, Melbourne and Brisbane when the points should ve virtually been in the bag.
GWS are hitting some decent form right now, but although we ve lost the last two weeks, I've seen signs that we re slowly 'getting it'.
Blues by 20 pts, but wont be surprised if we do lose though.

To be fair, we're not playing in 'Sydney', we're playing in 'Sydney Olympic Park'. (Which is a confusing name for a pretend suburb...)

Depends on which Carlton turns up. If we think things like "get away from the bottom teams with a percentage boosting win" we will lose.

I thought it was still Sydney no matter where it was. Anyway that record still stands and we have a chance for a 100% record "out there".
