Perhaps and painfully , Kruooz, Garlett and Lucas may all be put on the table as Mick needs to find the elusive power KP forward that can kick goals that we so desperately need .
Injection of a skillful mid with good endure with intensity would be great too.
Let's hope Mick can attract another 2 or 3 good players as last year.
On the topic Hawks are a slick unit , it's going to be very tough night , we may get close but just can't see us rolling them .
Ciao

Same source who said Buckley & Hendo would definitely miss vs Brisbane?

Gotta love this site.
What I said WAS
"Carrots injured again. Hendo may miss struggling with recovery. Robbo for Buckley most likely"

"I'm hearing no Hendo and no Buckley. Buckley may have improved but Monday am he was out"

Anyway

Jammo was moments from being subbed out on Friday night and wore a pressure bandage on his calf in the second half.
Interviewed on the weekend and was optomistic not confident.
Docherty wore the same and couldn't walk after the game.

But i guess my posts were so inaccurate they deserve comment

Both of your posts implied you had been told both times those players won't play.

Now it sounds like you are basing it on observations.

If Jamo was injured we could've subbed him instead of Waite.

I was told on the Monday immediately after the Adelaide game that Hendo and Buckley were out.
Hendo hasn't trained for weeks and Buckley was very sore.

I was told on Saturday that Jammo and Docherty were very doubtful with calf injuries.
My information is reliable and Not Fox Footy

Hendo not training for weeks makes sense given his lack of strength in both running and the contest. He is covering ground but he's not 100%.

Wonder what effect Kernahan's farewell party will have on the players' efforts this weekend. Inspired? Overwhelmed? No effect?

Umps, drafting, list, players, committee, afl, commentators, all will bear responsibility for our traditional annual thrashing by the Hawks. Thankfully the coach won't have any responsibility, unless we win, then all hail the chief.

Our form at the MCG has been nothing short of shit this season.

As long as we don't cough up another late lead I can at least go to the 150th function without the intent to kill.

Let's wipe the smile off Bolton's face.

Assuming no injuries I would do the following...

Out - touhy, mclean
in - buckley, judd

I would also drop Waite in a heartbeat but not sure who would come in instead. Maybe play White or Walker up forward and give Graham a go.

I would like to think we have a chance with this game.

No Josh Gibson, No Sam Mitchell, No Cyril Rioli, No Brian Lake.

Geez............. We could really push them with those outs. And GWS did just that a few weeks back,.

Paying $5.20 to win too...... I like those odds.
(admittedly i backed us against Geelong at $5.10 but gee it was close)

Cyril played on the weekend.

Plus Hale could be back this week.
