Happy with that
Havent overpaid, and the way he's been playing this year, he ll be worth every dollar and more if he continues this form.

:screwy:

If that works out to be $500k per season, we've done well. Whether the pick would have been better remains to be seen after this draft and in a few years time.

wow yeah ... for 500k, that is bang for the buck. Best deal we've come up with that I can remember.

a lot to be said for Gibbs too. Could've made an extra 200k a year at the crows, but sticks fat to the cause.

pretty good deal for a guy who is about to win the b&f, is only just 25 and has played 160+ games already. cap increasing every year too so in a couple of years it will look even better. plus the incentives will keep him on his toes.

If it really is 5 years at $500 a year I have no real issue with it. Values him at a good player level and a long way from the elite. IMO that's about right.

Well done to Bryce for doing the best thing for the football club, rather than chasing the money elsewhere which he really could have.

His effort in the last 8-10 weeks cannot be questioned at all

Still young enough, along with Murph, to be able to stick around through the rebuild and be a Leader to the young kids coming through.
With bonuses etc will probably be getting closer to 600K p.w. if he keeps performing to his potential.

Will be interesting to see if he displays the same level of commitment and hardness to the contest after such a long deal. Hopefully he avoids becoming complacent
