Don't know, maybe in the media and many supporters, but do those groups matter?

If Matheison comes out and drills the list again, I reckon he's safe. If he equivocates at all in his support of MM he might be under pressure.

I think it will come down to recovery.

MM has been banging on about x amount of players who haven't had a pre-season and that showed in the performance on the weekend. No energy after a 6 day break.

Was Buckley fit?, Menzel? Waite had another dose of second game back blues after a good game last week, Carrots was probably going to come off but Ellard got injured. MM has a history of playing underdone and the unfit players, even if we had one more player (apart from Murphy) who was still running hard at the end of the game it could have been a different result.

Probably lose but I wouldn't be surprised if we win, the reality is the Cats midfield isn't deep. MM will try to clamp Selwood and make the game a scrap, just like the Adelaide game. If we are fit enough and have recovered well enough we'll be able keep it ugly for 4/4, if not it could be a blow out.

easier to do at Etihad

Agreed....
This being the case, the fact they ve had 2 more days recovery would hold the Cats in good stead.
In saying that, we have played pretty decent football at Etihad this year (3 wins out of 4, and ahead for 3 qtrs against Port).
Wouldn't put it past our schizophrenic team to pluck a win out of nowhere, and leave everyone all bamboozled and confused for another week.

Schizophrenic?? How so??

It was a 50m not reportable though. Stupid by Yarran.

I know. I just didn't think it was worth 50 either.

Yazz should have known better but the acting by the Lions player was a bit OTT.

Our captains dives are also a bit OTT also.

Brisbane was meant to be our last win for a while. Sadly that last win came a week earlier v Adelaide.
Buckle up guys it's going to get ugly. Although we know finals is completely out of the question, when it becomes mathematically impossible the performances will be 10 times worse than we've seen this year. I expect a couple of players to be added to the LTI list - Walker especially he needs knee op.

Just play anyone who is fit.

that last loss really sucked the life out of me. We're only halfway thru the season and I've lost interest with our team.

... the last time I felt like this so early on Pagan was in charge.

I feel like we are looking forward to the draft again.

I think it's contagious. 4 pages into this thread and only one poster has bothered giving their in's and out's.....

Classic Malthouse. We are primed for early operations and early picks that will launch us into next year!

Doubt Enright will be back. Still looked to be hobbling in Torquay today
