I have been a MM supporter but the same thing is happening that happened under Ratts. When the supporters are confident, the players don't turn up.

How/Who can get inside the players heads?

Doesn't this tells you that it's the list and not the coach?

Hero posting it after the event.

Go back and read the match forum where I made several posts saying we will lose and why we will lose this game

As I said, it had a bit of info about the boys getting a head of themselves and training poorly during the week.

Do you know Ryan2000 ?

This side doesn't necessarily lack the ability. It's just wastes it with inept, lazy, cultureless, disinterested, "I couldn't care less" football. No coach can seem to change it.

Did one of your "sources" tell you to do it ? Anybody can say that after the event.

Post subject: Re: R11: Brisbane v Carlton (pre-match discussion) Posted: Sat May 31, 2014 1:52 am

We will stink it up today..... Lions will over run us. We have a big number of players playing sore. The loss of Walks, bucks and dangers run will hurt us.

When Carlton are being hunted...... We crumble.

Lions will beat us this weekend.

Yet you look at Melbourne's list and they have more spuds playing than us yet they are a more disciplined, defensive unit.

When they play you can see each player knows what the plan is - even if it doesn't come off

Under MM the players look confused; they don't know what to do on so many occasions.

Roos is able to do it at Melbourne with a shitter list; MM is being paid the big bucks to bring some resolve to the Carlton group but it is clear he is failing

So I slapped fifty in the lions.

Waite and Yarran should both be dropped

Yarran had a lot of it and didn't muck up a pass all night. He snapped after getting hit in the throat. Most times the umpires pay that but he just snapped. Lucky the left hook missed or he'd be out for 8 weeks. The one he went for was lower impact than than the Gaz one. But it did cost us 50 at a critical time, certainly.

Waite is different and I agree. History of it and just wasn't interested tonight. He has been a waste of money for the entire last contract and before that he was a waste of effort.

He had a horrible squib in the middle. Wonder if they are past a point where they can alter the main parts of the contract?

It's because we have no reserves.

We can't drop players for bad games.

We are far too patchy and have been for years. Doesn't seem to matter who the coach is. We swing from chocolates to boiled lollies and back again.

And our general sloppiness in disposal and discipline means that we never seem to take full advantage of our periods of dominance. How many inside-50s did we have?

Just really disappointing that these losses keep occurring and there just does not appear to be an obvious answer in sight or any indication that things can be turned around.

Yep, will take 2-3 very good years of drafting to add some depth.

We had plenty of opportunity to put the margin out of reach but we couldn't convert our dominance onto the score board.

We had so many inside 50's but Waite and Henderson were useless especially Waite.

Eddie. gets would have kicked 6 goals tonight...... What was dale Thomas contribution to the scoreboard??
