Just hone from the game.
Woeful first half of footy by both teams.
Carlton supporters showed a lot more class than Collingwood with our treatment of Betts.
Love Menzel.

We are on a roll 4 wins from the last 5 games. Bring on September.

frustrating footballer

He is.

But the most frustrating thing is we look better with him in the side.

The umpires really need to get some consistency and clarity on the deliberate out of bounds interpretation.

The only thing consistent with this rule is how desperately inconsistently it's been applied ever since it was introduced.

I don't remember murphy putting on a big tackle ever. Just miss tackles......

There was much more good happening today than bad. Not sure why the focus on murphy's tackling in a winning side is coming under scrutiny. His disposal and composure -- especially under pressure -- was excellent tonight. He seemed to steady us when we needed it. Gibbs was alright too.

Casboult, Docherty, Everitt, Rowe, White were all in our best. Daisy was ok.

Bucks looks like he'll miss some time with a hammy. The guys were consoling after the song and he looked pretty bummed. Hopefully it's not a proper 6wk+ hammy tear, but it didn't look good.

We're within smelling distance of the 8 and we're still a bit away from our best football and our strongest 22. Cup is half full.

Have a look at our fixture, I don't like the look of it

I remember him doing plenty of front on tackles, do I remember the exact games? No.

You can do the research.

Does the captain have to be the best player?

Simpson plays like a captain
Courage personified
And doesn't get tagged out of it so maybe they'd have been better with him skipper
Hindsight is a comfort though I know

I remember about 3 tackles in all the years I've been watching football.

Wallis tackle, the one where Army got pinged by that Sydney dude in the final and Eddie tackling some Bombers donkey but I don't remember the game.

What sums you up is pumping Daisy and running down Murph, Judd anyone else linked to the regime.

Daisy was pretty damn awful in the first half or did you think all those time the commentators called his name it was him? It was Waite.

It's the first time Daisy has broken even in a performance.

Nuffy.

Anyway.

The way Simpson went back and slotted that goal was pure leadership.
