Very good idea, simply and effectively executed - for now. Everyone knows it'll mean nothing if we don't show up on Sunday, but at least immediately its a good start.
The club has been battered from pillar to post this past fortnight, to point where no one has anything new or constructive to add. So the club sets the agenda with one word.
There's been talk of Mick losing the players, the players having no spirit and all that... well, here they all are on message; the same message.
Solid PR, I say.
So you have some sort of analysis of the demographic of this thread?
I'll suggest what the demographic is. Mind you it is only a suggestion....
People of both genders
People aged from teens to seventies
People with little formal education to PhD
People with family origins from every corner of the globe
People living inside and outside Australia
Supporters and detractors, members and non-members of Carlton and/or the AFL and/or other clubs
Employed and unemployed people, business owners, students and retirees.
Rich and not so rich people.
Black, white and yellow people with others falling into various shades of the main three.
Athiests, agnostics and believers in one or more Gods.
That narrows it down so the first line of your post makes a bit more sense.[/quote]
I'd be fairly confident in saying most of us here wouldn't really 'get' twitter, instagram, facebook et al. At least it seems that way. It'd be an older crowd, I reckon.
In my short time on here its pretty tough not to be of the opinion that most people here give off a decidedly "who needs that sort of shit" vibe when it comes to social media.
And whether you do or don't give a shit about it, you need to have the common sense to realise its quite prominent and important these days.
