Very sad that after 10 years of recruiting we have so many dumb footballers? Wayne Hughes legacy :banghead:

We have drafted well in the rookie draft and that is why we have poor skills and can't kick. We are picking up the players who were overlooked for some reason.

Our skills let us down.

Lucas was OK when he come on. Buckley was very good for a second game player and Menzel just seems to have some class. We need to add Cripps to the midfield. Get him going. He has the size and is no skinny kid.

Best game I have seen Bell play. Gets the ball but just can't kick. Maybe he was a rookie draft selection?

Looking at the stats I think you're right - 60 inside 50s, 15 marks inside 50 to 9, 3 goals 7 in the last qtr and 2 OOF.

Tonight proved a few things....but here's the obvious ones:

Robbo and Ellard should never play for this club again. Both try very hard but are C graders.

Kane Lucas....all speed and nothing else. Can't tackle, can't kick, terrible decision maker.

Warnock is a true 1990s ruckman....gets the tap but that's all folks. See you later, come on down Camo.

Gibbs, last Q aside is a pansy flower. Worth $400k tops. Adelaide can have him for $700k no dramas, and let's hope we get decent compo.

Daisy is class and when gets fit will be our best player easily.

Menzel and Buckley showed plenty. Bucks has arrived....welcome aboard SOJ. Menzel all class, just hope the LARS holds up for a while longer.

Rowe battled hard, but lost too many 1 on 1contests at crucial moments. Not our worst but not the future either.

Bottom 4 to 6 for sure this year.

Yarran showed what he can do if he pulls his finger out. Needs to play wing for the rest of the year.

Tiges are kidding themselves if they think they're any good

Buckley was great tonight. Still a little rushed at times, but that will come with experience.

Menzel good in the last.

Bell was better tonight.

Murphy much better.

Why are we playing Rowe? He tries hard but doesn't have the quality to play at this level. We should've played Casboult and used Waite in defence if needed.

I think Brock is in decline, needs to find some form or be replaced by Graham.

Robbo is tough, strong, fearless but football dumb.

Graham will replace Brock, Docherty for Robbo, happier days ahead.

When they revert to the run and carry style they look a lot better.

Whenever he throws his moribund gameplan out the window the team look half decent.

Rowe for Watson was a seamless swap.

Buck's, Menz, well done. Lucas flashes but that kick, seriously average.
Murph, Warnock (despite the miss & kick), Jamo, Hendo, Everitt, Thomas lifted. Yazz is not a defender. Bell good at times, mostly in the 1st.

Brock, Robbo (lifted but can't the shite kicking anymore), D. Ellard (had his chances but just short of AFL standard).

Gibbs, what was that. Play him forward against this mob. Waite & Garlett - forwards kick goals....

Was Tuohy doing a defensive job or is he just plyying ordinary?

Bell at least can bust packs and put physical pressure on but yes I think eventually either Cripps of Holman will replace him.

How much difference will Carrazzo, Kreuzer and Judd make to this side? None of them have reliable foot skills so will that much change?

Foot skills are shocking - Waite, Garlett, Robinson, Curnow main offenders - 3 goals 7 behinds?

Soft front runner #1 position goes to one Bryce Gibbs. Not good enough.

No excuses.

Play the kids - Menzel, SOJ, Lucas (?)

carrazzo???
