I disagree that we need massive changes to the list. A strong key forward and certainly more depth in the midfield.

Here's the reality. Every year in Sydney is a horrible year for the AFL, even when Sydney wins.
Sydney, reigning premiers and favourites playing against Carlton, one of the biggest crowd drawing teams in the comp.
37,400 turn up. They had more at Geelong last week.

Sydney is a League town and always will be. The AFL has poured endless quantities of money into Sydney and it will happen with GWS. It's like a big yacht. Sydney is a big hole in the country into which the AFL throws money for no return.
In addition, they have given Sydney money to attract more players so they will play finals and keep the Sydneysiders mildly interested.
My question is this. Why wasn't this game played at the SCG? It holds about 35,000 and has a great atmosphere. Answer. The surface is too small.
So we have a great venue with a small playing surface versus a huge venue with a dodgy surface and nobody in attendance.

As I said, when he has done well he's shown something for a young bloke. More consistency and he makes a handy back-up forward and ruck but never the spearhead. I know where his strengths and weaknesses lie. It's also why I asked about Jesse White. He's played good one's, shockers and not much in-between. Unlike most I look at the whole picture not just the last game and speak with my frustrations.

Jim, we won 3 games he played. One against GWS, Tigers (his best game) and Port when he was dragged in shame at half time and the game turned.

We are a man down with him out there. He needs to take 6 contested marks and kick 3 to break even. He is in all the wrong spots, missing all the big tackles and kicking all the big points.
